T day 123,124 and the Last Day

 Well I have been busy the last two nights. Getting off work later than normal and trying to fit my routine in. Wed night I ran 2 miles and beat my time by 48 seconds...17 minutes and 5 seconds! T Day 122

 Today after work I did Dianne O's workout for the upper body, but due to getting home late and parrot feeding and cage cleaning I supersetted the big muscles in between the little ones. For instance when I finished a 12 rep on incline bench press I went straight into a 12 rep tri cable push down. After doing that routine in about 20 minutes I could barly pull my shirt off to shower.  Today after I got up from 3 hours sleep  (worked nights last night) I ran a few errands and decided I would go for a run. T Day 116

 I got up at 12ish, ate some cereal....Go Lean with Almond milk if you are curious...weed eated for an hour, came back in, slammed a banana and an apple and did me a 5 mile run in 50 minutes and 36 secs. I wasaiming for 7 miles but it got too hot. T Day 113/114

Sunday was 113 and today, Monday was T-day 114. I tried to fix our septic pump and to no avail as I waited on a crew to come out of Dallas to work on our wind turbine that has been down for several weeks. They showed up late with a bucket truck and after changing out a few boards got it fixed. T Day 111

 Today was a planned 3 mile run. I did it after work( actually a few minutes ago). It was a little tough after working a 12 hour shift. I felt more winded than usual and it was just harder all the way around. I think i do a lot better in the morning after breakfast. T Day 109

 I hit the 7 mile mark today. It was my goal to at least hit the halfway point for my 1/2 marathon run on Oct. 25 or the 26th.  Got up at 1300 and felt pretty good. Usually I don't sleep well after I get home from my first graveyard night. I think a lot of this has to do with my nutrition as set up by our nutrition lady. We are doing what's called food combining. When we have a meat dish, we eat veggies only. When we have a carb dish we only have veggies.  We started off the day back on the property cutting down trees, hauling limbs and burning the piles we've made. Numero 100

 Jerome and I hit the Y today and followed his routine set up by his trainer Diane. Needless to say it was intense! Wow what a workout and I'm a little nervous about doing legs Wednesday.  T day 98 was the drive to Dallas for the Texas meetup and the drive back home. The total drive time was almost 11 hours, the visit time was over three hours, the total fuel cost was 0 dollars as we made the whole trip on veggie oil. The meetup, was absolutely priceless.  We were planning on going for a bike ride today but while I was moving my neighbors tin roof that landed on our property into a pile I cut my wrist open.  Well it looks as if the Tri I was scheduled to participate in is put off until 2009. It was scheduled Oct 24th in Galveston. I think Galveston won't be ready to handle anything for quite sometime.  I got an upper body workout in using the home gym. The Y will be down indefinetly because of some damage and no electricity. I was filling and draining the 200 gallon fish tank and had to be there so I wouldn't run it over and that's where all the equipment is so I got to get it in.  Today was suppose to be spin class, but since Ike took a northerly turn towards the Houston/Galveston area I had to change the workout plan. I spent most of the day clearing the ditch in front of our property and then moving several loads of broken concrete to make some walls around he pond to prevent erosion. Today was Labor Day and boy did I labor. We went and met the swim team at the pool for an hour an half and labored for the whole time lol.  Today we went riding with a group of people and we rode 27 miles. It was a great ride and I had time to think about a lot of things and to really feel what was happening to my whole body as I was pushing the last 10 miles. We swam 2200 meters today in our 1.5 hour slotted time. We did multiple type exercises like dolphin kicks without using our arms, forward and on our backs. 1 arm butterflies with the dolphin kicks, and other freestyle strokes using training aids to get our arms moving more efficiently.  It was a great workout and I gave it all i had until I got calf cramps.luckily we were almost done. Have a great weekend my friends ...

 Yesterday I was able to do an UBWO  BFL style. I started out strong but faded quickly. I was trying to hit some heavy dumbbell weights on chest but really got pounded on shoulders. I did 35 lbs 12 times 40 lbs 10 times and then could only hit 45 lbs 5 times, i was so whipped that I skipped the 6 rep lift and hit 40 lbs again for 10 reps.  What a day. Loaded up the new ten speed, and brought the truck to have the windshield replaced. it was a 13 mile ride and almost made it home when I blew the rear tire.  Today at work I did the elliptical for a 503 calorie burn in 20 minutes, HIIT style. That was my all time best as I was aiming for a 500 plus cal burn. Finally.
