T-day 21

 I got off work at the usual time and we made it for our swim. The training was intense I was was trying to use more upper body strokes with less leg movement to increase my efficiency. T day-20

 Officially it's day 20 as I'm working nights and it is the start of a brand new day.I used yesterday as a day of rest after doing all the stuff I did. I couldn't figure if I should do some type of lifting or cardio, so I mowed and weedeated for several hours to catch up on the yardwork.  After yesterday's planned and unplanned workouts I haven't planned anything so if I do something it will be unplanned. i start nights tonight and in the a.m. it's off to swim team trianing for 1.5 hours. T-day 18

Today is suppose to be spin day, but at 1000 I'm going to L.A. Fitness to workout with one of the guys I work with. I've about had enough of the crap at the Y. Yesterday while working out the kids were were cranking up the treadmills to full blast and trying to jump on them and run. One kid got tossed about 2 foot backwards into the ellipticals. T-day 17

 Today will be legs and abs. If I'm lucky I'll try to get some swimming in. The Y was suppose to leave  a lane open for lap swimming for adults. They usually don't and since my transformation is focusing more on working the spirituality part of my life, I find myself losing that rather quickly when kids land on top of me doing cannonballs into the pool. T-day 14

Today is freeday. Although it is free from workouts I'll burn a boat load of calories doing yard work. I have a ditch that is covered in Kudzu and it has my name on it. Armed with a weedeater and a lot of patience and determination I hope to knock about 500 foot of it out. T-day 13

 We got up at 0500 for some insane reason and on an off day no less. We headed out to First Colony and met the folks for our usual Saturday torture. An hour and a half in the pool. T-day 11

 Ever have a bad day. Well you know to to make it better..... butt kicking workout! I took a day of vacation from work today so the power company could kill the power to my house so I could make a tie in for a wind generator. They never showed, never called..... nothing. I finally got in touch with the rep and he said they could come out tomorrow. Don't know when, can't give me a ballpark time, just that they might come out....if I stay home...

T-day 9

 Today at work I did the elliptical for a 503 calorie burn in 20 minutes, HIIT style. That was my all time best as I was aiming for a 500 plus cal burn. Finally. I owe that to the inspriration I got fom my friend Tracy. We talked most of the day today and when I got to go work out, I felt a lot of positive energy. Today after work I did chest, back, bi's and abs. it was a little rough due to a long day at work but I pushed through and made it a successful workout. i should sleep well tonight. T-day 7

Today is my free day so I won't be doing any planned workouts. Other activites might burn some calories though. Yesterday's planned workout was swimming with the Adult Masters Swim Team. i swam for 1 hour and 15 minutes. My big accomplishment was swimming freestyle for 30 minutes non stop. T- day 6

Yesterday I got my shoulder, tri and ab work in. We started later than normal because Susan's workout partner Patty was running late. They found out Chuck's pancreatic cancer is gone! He went with an alternative treatment and an organic diet and in 6 weeks has tested clean! Wow we were all just in awe and it was hard to workout and focus.  Today is what i call transition day. i just finished nights got home at 0600 and got up at 08:30 a so I can get my body back on day light normal time. Yesterday did legs which made it extremely hard to walk at work last night. The fact I'm on my feet for several hours at a time makes for a long 12 hour shift. T-day3

 Yesterdays plan to swin for cardio was a bust due to the bad weather so i did my cardio here. I did the elliptical for a 475 cal burn. Also we now have assignment #2 out and luckily for me I'll stay on my same plan. It's 3 cardio days and 3 weight days. So today's plan is legs and maybe if time permits some swimming.
