T Day 109
I hit the 7 mile mark today. It was my goal to at least hit the halfway point for my 1/2 marathon run on Oct. 25 or the 26th. I had wanted to run 5 or 6 miles today but was shooting for 7 which i did! my time was 74 minutes and 15 seconds. My legs feel a little rubbery and my left boob got a rash from my shirt. But as I reflect back several years ago, my Moobs( man boobs ) would beat me to death just cutting the grass with the zero turn. So progress comes in small victories and with a little dab of neosporin, lol.
This " I can" attitude of late has been carrying me far. I'm impressed with my running ability so far, as are some of the people I know who run. I think all the cardio and the spin classes I have done in the past year have made this easier than I suspected it would have been, and then the positive aspects of what we learn from our transformation exercises I think build on our winning attitudes. I mean, think about this, two months ago i haven't jogged or ran any distances in over 30 years, and even at that it was several laps around the high school track when I got in trouble for acting like a knucklehead and had to run laps.....but the minute the teacher's head was turned, i was walking.... i really hated running.... now it is ...well it's cool and addicting, lol.
Have a great day my friends!

I tell ya I know your pain... it got so bad for me that I had to put bandaids on my man boobs to keep the pain at bay. Looked silly but all part of the process
From moobs to pecks now that is true transformation at its finest! LOL You can finally put away the BRO. HAHA......Keep it up.........DUDE
