T Day 82
Today was suppose to be spin class, but since Ike took a northerly turn towards the Houston/Galveston area I had to change the workout plan. I did chest lifts moving 20 sheets of plywood into the bed of my truck. I took a 30 minute break and then chest lower lifts as I lowered those sheets of plywood to my wagon on my golf cart. At that point the next set of lifts were more bi/back/chest lifts and raises as I hoisted the plywood over each door and window. I got tri and bi cardio type exercises from ripping multiple pieces of plywood with a circular saw. Then in between the wood lifting, we got into some power lifting with the quads and hammies moving yard art, potted plants and other lawn equipment.
Of course I did get some running in several times as Sam( boxer puppy) snagged my sunglasses and tape measure and made a game of chase out of that until I caught her to get my stuff.
Then it was back to more lifting, ripping, and yes running again, she got my water cup and we played chase again.
It took us several hours and I hit many tens and was quite happy at the stamina I had to make it through the day.
The foods for the day were fruit, power bars, more fruit, water, iced tea, a couple of diet cokes, baked chiken and raw veggies every 2 to 3 hours. We did have a cheat meal though and had a bowl of icecream.....it was hot today, lol.
Anyway, that was my unplanned workout for the day.
Tomorrow, some more unplanned lifting pulling, tugging and yes chasing boxer puppies that snag my stuff, lol
I'll keep you guys posted if anything happens,
Stay Strong,
Troy

I'm sure you have discovered what we did - thank goodness we started this program earlier this year! Imagine what it would be like dealing with all of the strenuous activity required by storm prep if you weren't in shape. Be safe my friend.
Only you, Troy! Love it.
Thinking of you
