WOWSA....Its been THAT long since my last blog.  I suppose that serves as a good indication of just how nuts my life has been lately.  LOTS going on.  I haven't felt stress like I have over the past 7 weeks, and I mean that.  Things still

I am wishing you joy in the beauty of a flower that is near you on your walk, laughter in the delight of watching two kittens wrestle with each other, and peace in the knowledge that you are loved and appreciated. "People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost." (H. Jackson Brown) Miss you Jenn. ~Tara

A very, very, and VERY HAPPY Birthday to you, JENN RILE!!! Your story still holds, and will continue to hold, the "STUNNING" component. I don't say that lightly, Jenn. It's your story. But it doesn't solely belong to you at this point. What I mean is...we're given a story...in order to tell a story. Live it loudly, overcomer! I believe in YOU. Big HOOT to Chris as well!!!

It is good to be back home and I am grateful to discover that you have continued to keep creating your inspiring and MOTIVATING threads here into this new year. I can't help but think of the starfish story that people share once in a while .... you know, the one about the man who is on the beach after a recent storm picking up starfish one by one from the sand where they have been stranded and chucking them back into the water before they die? When questioned by another man as to why he does it, because it won't make much of a 'difference' since most of them are going to die anyway -- the man says nothing... but rather he simply picks up one more and throws it back out into the ocean waters, he then turns to the skeptic and replies ... "it made a difference for that one!" ----- There are times when I feel like the 'one'. Thank you Jenn. YOU continue to make a difference in this community and I am sincerely grateful for your efforts!! xo~Tara

I Am

I AM a loving, motivated, dedicated and UNBELIEVABLY humbled wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I KNOW that I AM capable. I KNOW that whatever it is that I set my mind to do...I WILL. I GET to be a mother, I GET to be a wife and I GET to fit into all the other facets of my life. I will do the very best with what God has given me to 'go the distance.' I AM thankful for ALL that I already have and for all that is to come. I AM blessed.

My Favorite Charity

To me, Transformation Means

For me transformation means change. To abandon one idea for a better one. Embracing a change in perspective and thusly, reality. It means forward moving direction in a more positive and conscious way. I guess kinda like superman...who doesn't want to be superman or superwoman??

My Goals

My goals are to see past my own nose. To let go of the things I have allowed to rob me of my life force and regain control. I will remove barriers that could act as potential quicksand to my motivation. I will be proud of the woman I see looking back at me in the mirror and not question my intentions or the direction I confidently choose to go. I will stop apologizing for myself and to myself for the decisions I make and be proud of who I am and the people I'm raising my sons to be. I will be the best role model and mother I can for them. I will ensure that the proper attention is given to sustain these changes.

My Intentions

My intentions are to let my heart lead the way. I will let go of my expectations and perceptions. My heart will stay in constant alignment with my intentions. I will greet each and every day with a smile and thank God for allowing me the gift of being alive to make the very best of THIS day. I will do something each and every day that keeps me headed in the direction my compass is pointing. This is how I can step up and be the very best me I possibly can be. I will MAKE SURE that I make the very best out of EACH day, God blesses me with, here on earth. I will be present in each moment and be active in my own life. I am not a victim. I will continue to take on and fully accept responsibility of being in charge of my own life. I will NO longer stand in my own way of progress.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I want to inspire anyone who needs inspiration...my boys...my husband...my family...my friends...the people that bag my groceries...the person who smiles back at me when I make an effort to say good morning...I want to inspire the people that think 'this is as good as its gonna get.' When we settle for our health, we are not only letting ourselves down, but those around us who love, care for, support and depend on us. We live in a 'throw away society.' When we tire of something, we either find the quick fix or we just toss it. We are bombarded with billboards, commercials, tv and movies as well as magazines and newspapers full of advertisements for the Lap-Band weight-loss surgery, for liposuction or other forms of plastic surgeries, and whats most interesting about this, is often on the flip side, page or next commercial, is an advertisement for some kind of unhealthy, overly processed food. What a backwards way of thinking. I want to inspire the people that want something more out of life, and who want to be inspiring to others as well. When we all share that kind of inspiration, and take the time to pay it forward, the goal of 'worst to first' is completely and totally achievable.
