So, I start with my question:  How do I stay connected and not feel disconnected to t.com members when I am so busy?  You would think I would know the answer as I've been a member since 2008...but I don't.  I am at the same spot I always am.  I start out strong---strong convictio...

Hey Sandra, thank you for coming by my profile page during the week. I sure do appreciate it very much. Things are going well in my part of the world. I have started another semester of college this week so my time here will be quite sporadic. Wishing you well and it was great to see you on my page during the week. Rohan

Every adversity brings with is the seed of an equivalent benefit...perhaps the confrontation of your Chocolate addiction with be just that! (I just posted this in the Warriors of the Light group...but wanted to make sure you saw it!)

Hi Sandra! I'm so glad you liked my blog and took time to comment! Thank you! I love meeting new to me members! Thank God for the gift of writing....and yes, life is all about choices. Adam and Eve made the first bad choice and suffered consequences and we're no different - forgiven, but still making choices and suffering consequences!! On another note, I LOVE to see you running!! That's always such a cool thing....to see anyone who can run for more than ten minutes is a miracle to me....I can run 30 seconds....so, good for you on what you're doing!! Becky

Hi there! I had someone tell me a few weeks ago that once you hit mile 9 there is no difference after that-is that true or the craziest thing you've ever heard? I have been astounded by that ever since and just wanted your input since you've run 3 already! Thanks! Shelly :)

I Am

I am a wife to a wonderful man, David. I am a mother of 2 daughters, Danielle (14) and Emily (10). I am compassionate, faithful, dedicated, disciplined, and hard working. I am an At-Risk Counselor at a middle school and I have completed the first year of graduate school for my Masters of School Counseling. I love to run! I am eager to complete my transformation so I can speak with integrity to others about what it will take to transform their lives.

My Favorite Charity

1. Breast Cancer 2. American Heart Association

To me, Transformation Means

To become a whole person--body, mind, and soul. To live your life with integrity where your inside and outside are in harmony with one another. It's peace with who you are and finding balance in your life.

My Goals

My goal is to stay active on the t.com forum. I want to complete a challenge and earn at least a merit standing.

My goal is to lose at least 15 pounds and decrease my body fat to <20%.

***New deadlines*** I will start the 2010 challenge on January 1st. I will lose 5 pounds by the end of January (161). I will lose 10 pounds by the end of February (156). I will lose 15 pounds by the end of March (151).

I will wear a size 6/8 comfortably.

To have a toned body, a strong body, a healthy body!

My Intentions

I intend to log onto t.com each day during my lunch break if not right away in the morning.

I intend to complete 6 workouts a week including at least 2 strength training and 3 cardio routines. Also, when my running partner cancels on me to have a back up plan so I still get a work out in.

I intend to use the Transformation website and find a mentor who has completed the challenge to help me and hold me accountable.

I intend to blog at least once a week and really inspire others through my new growth and learning.

I intend to not fall into peer pressure or environmental pressures when eating and going against what I want for myself.

I intend to find a way to eat and workout that I can do for life.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I would like to inspire my family, specifically my husband David and my two daughters. I want them to see what it means to live a healthy lifestyle.

I would like to inspire my neighbors and small town community to not give up or give in to being a person they don't want to be or are not happy with--it's never to late to make changes.

I would like to inspire the students and my co-workers at the school where I work. I want them to see that although we are all busy, there is a way to live a healthy life and it doesn't have to be hard.
