Jilly- Training is off this week as I anxiously wait for my fall schedule! Meeting with my Coach on Wednesday to revamp it and include my goals for this next year. I'm excited! So today, I did an easy 60 minute Spin. I intended to swim for an hour but the pool was closed due to a chemical issue. Yesterday I ran 6 miles and a pace that is pushing it for me- 8:30 miles on the average. The day before I biked for 1 hour and then swam 2000 meters in various sets. The day before that I did a 6 mile "trail" run through the most glorious little forest a city can hold. Awesome! How goes your training? bon

I Am

To be all that we can be, all that we aspire to be, all that we should be, we must live outside of who we are and where we are today. Outside of our comfort zone, outside of the familiar. In failing to do so, we will never grow beyond where we are and attain the riches that lay before us....... There is no greater gift than the opportunity to encourage someone else...... "Love your neighbor as yourself.".......2000 Grand Champion Body-for-LIFE

My Favorite Charity

Those in need.

To me, Transformation Means

Understanding and embracing the responsibility to always strive, always reach for better. To commit ourselves to the using the gifts God has given each of us to help and serve others. To never leave the race. Failure is not falling for no race is ever perfect. Failure is giving up and refusing to go on.

My Goals

Colosians 3:1-4"If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory."......My number one goal is to grow closer to God- to listen to Him and to please Him...... Second to that is to be the best mom I can be for the 4 amazing warriors He has placed temporarily in my care...... Continually- To give to someone else, whether that gift is through encouragement, listening, understanding, caring, praying. It is my goal to never let one of these opportunities pass me by...... Additionally- to train and compete in events that I have never done before such as triathlons of various lengths and distances, individually and on a team, a rowing event, and so on....... Life is such an amazing adventure. Don't waste too much time trying to figure out the map.

My Intentions

Hebrews 12:1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
