Chris, it was a pleasure meeting you in Dallas and hearing you speak. My wife and I still talk and tell people about the marshmellow. I will never forget that as I struggle with instant gratification. Also, thank you for the video's, blogs, and effort you put into sharing your journey with all of us here. It's not only inspirational, but very educational as well. - gav

Chris, I know I already told you how I feel about you in person, but I wanted to say it again. You are articulate, present, bright, pointed and INSPIRING. I know you mean every ounce of what you say from the passion that surrounds you and all that you are! I love your strength on stage and your peaceful humility off!

Chris, I can't stop thinking about the marshmallows. I've been spending all week making myself wait the entire 15 minutes, distracting myself by looking away, lol. Even posted a sign that says "DON'T EAT THE MARSHMALLOW" at my desk. Of all I remember of Dallas, that is the one thing that keeps coming back to me. Lost weight already this week. It was good to have you speak to us again.

I loved ur talk in Dallas....it helped to open my heart to the shame and guilt I have been hiding in my own life....loved it when u said, "hiding our addictions gives them power over us, getting them in the open suffocates them!" I appreciate the words you shared SO much....my deepest thanks....timberly :)

Chris, I just had to write and tell you what joy I felt when I saw you first time in the lobby at the Fairmont. Something about your spirit works magic for me. And you are turning into quite a motivational speaker. You mean the world to Charles and me. Looking forward to October when we get to see you again. Jenny

Dear Chris... It was a pleasure and a dream come true to meet you, Kyung Hee and your children. Thank you for allowing me to spend time with you and your family. I will cherish those moments for the rest of my life. It meant a lot to me that you took the little token in your pocket during your speech. You are a dynamic, compassionate and engaging speaker and it was one of the best performances I have seen - power packed, well articulated and well delivered. I wish you the very best for the next 2 rounds. Very Best~Prasad.

I Am

I am a 42 year old father of three wonderful childern (my oldest is 7 yrs) and married to an amazing women. Over the past six years, since my first son was born, I have progressively drank. It started on the weekends and then moved into the week nights. Early 2008 I lost my business and began drinking during the day. My life was going nowhere fast. I have been clean since June 30, 2008 thanks to the support and some very special people found here at T. When I started Transformation I was 201 lbs at 5'8", unemployeed, alchohol had taken over my life, and I reached an all time low in my life. After 18 weeks I dropped 40 lbs to 161 lbs. Most importantly I became a hero to my kids and wife and my life is now full of endless possibilities. When I first showed my before and after photo with my friends I did it because I wanted to let them know that if I can do it so can you. However, all they could see was what was in front of them (the photos and me). They could not make the connect that they could do it just like I did. Why? The pictures don't show the stuggles, the battles I fought (I still fight) with food and alcohol addictions, the mornings I did not want to prepare my meals for the day, the times I did not want to go to the gym, etc.. My message to anyone looking at my before and after photo is that I am a real person, with real life issues, and real struggles just like all of us. If I can do it so can you. Ok ,so being 41 having a six pack is all super cool. But let me share with you the best part. Once you achieve your physical goals your focus will shift from wieght lose to your life and the endless possibilities you possess. The challenges, struggles, and personal lessons you will learn in creating your own before and after photos will surpass all initial wieght lose goals. You will suddenly realize you can do and achieve anything you want. Change is universal, it knows no boundaries. It does not care if you are 18 or 80 year old, rich or poor, white or black, male or female. Human change is universal and when it happens it is magic! Make the change... be the change.

My Favorite Charity

Stand Up For Kids. The mission of stand up for kids is to help homeless and street kids.

To me, Transformation Means

My Goals

My transformation started out with weight lose and sobriety as my goals. Once I lost the weight and gained control of my alcoholism it then became about my life and the possibilities. I realized that the process is about human change and that change is universal. When a human changes is it magic. I want to share with others that change is indeed possible fore everyone and that what might start out as a health and weight lose goals can quickly turn into a personal believe that you have the power achieve anything you desire.

My Intentions

Who I'd Like to Inspire

My three kids, wife, and others.
