I look forward to living a full life with family, friends and good health. I need to care enough about me to address each assignment of this challenge openly and honestly. I don't mean to sound selfish, but unless I have a self I have nothing to give......

To me, Transformation Means
Transforming means COMMITTMENT! Committment to take it one day at a time and to look at the progress not the perfection. Certainly words to live by.
I have no doubt as I progress through these 18 weeks, the meaning of transformation will change. I have already seen the need to connect to the community for support, encouragement, friendships and so much more. Addressing the assignments and planning the exercise and meals will result in both internal and external rewards.
My Goals
One day at a time in my commitment to this program. To accept my daily challenges (a more positive word rather than failures) as an opportunity to begin again. The plan will include exercise, proper eating habits and following the program. I've never been one to journal as I hate to write, but find this rather cathartic. I want to feel good and be an inspiration to my family.
My Intentions
To work the program but more than that is to complete the program. I need to complete this program....I need to change my life.

Thank you for commenting on my blog. I agree with you!! This is our year to see some big changes! I'll keep you posted on my thoughts of a West Valley hike. I think it would be a lot of fun. Sounds like we're going to get a ton of rain tonight so it would be awesome to hit the waterfall trail at the White Tanks shortly after the rain so we might actually see water. We'll chat soon. I use to drink tea all the time. Now I gag when I even think about it. I don't know what happened, but I wish I could drink it now!!! :( It is much better for you! But thanks for the advice anyway! How are you doing with the 2010 challenge? Hope you are having a great week!! -Katrina :)
Oh Mary Kay - I am so sorry I missed you at the marathon! i couldn't find anybody that I knew and then I left my directions to the restaurant at home, and couldn't even remember the name of it - so i missed the luncheon as well..... bahhhh!
