Monday morning...life is crazy. This ankle is really starting to mentally get the better of me. With all this weight, will it heal ok? What if I can never run again? All of these thoughts are swirling in my head. Feeling overwhelmed and concerned. But - at the end of the day - if I never run again, I can still walk. I can still powerwalk - it will just take time.
Being patient was something I NEVER have been. Patiently waiting for the ankle to heal CORRECTLY will be a new challenge in my life. But, patiently waiting doesn't mean that I just stop everything...I need to keep pushing forward. Keeping my nutrition CLEAN - working my UBWO's and AB workouts. Keeping connected online with my T.Com family.
Life has been hectic...since my co-worker has died, my job has taken on NEW and challenging responsibilities. I no longer have the time to talk on the phone as much as I used to...this will be a difficult change for me - I'm used to talking w/ friends each day. But - between work and craziness at home w/ AJ & his activities, I'll be on the "run" (sitting driving) most of the time after work. It's complicated...but it's life. We adapt.

You can do it and if you listen to your doctor- you'll be up and about in no time.
You will do great!!! I totally understand the being patient part...I was just thinking today how I had to stop that instant gratification part of my life...and it does take some getting used to being patient and listening to our bodies. You will do wonders with your clean eating and your UBWO and ab routine. Can you swim at all with your ankle? Just a thought!!! I'm not sure what kind of gym you belong to or if you have access to a PT's office...you can use one of those upper body only cardio machines....they actually do work up quite the sweat. Just some ideas!!!! Stay strong...letting yourself heal correctly will prevent you from having to do this again down the road if you rush things!!! Really proud of you for sticking with the meals and UBWO...you're going to do great!!! ~Sunshine Gerl
