Back in the saddle again...

Hey everyone - I've been gone for a while - I fell off the wagon on purpose.  I needed a break and so did my body.  But, I'm happy to report that in this break I didn't gain back one pound.

So - today I ran week 4 of the couch to 5K program for the first time.  I ran (2) intervals of the following:  Run 3 minutes - Walk 90 sec - Run 5 minutes - Walk 2 1/2 minutes.  I was so scared...honestly scared that I'd suck wind...scared I wouldn't be able to do this...but BAM I did it!  I RAN!  And...the best news of all?  I didn't suck wind ONCE!   You have no idea how liberating this is!  The only thing that hurt were my legs, ankles and knees - but what's new...they ALWAYS hurt.

Oh...and did I mention I went my furthest distance EVER this morning?  2 miles!  I am superwoman today!  We are doing it George!  We are running!  I can't wait for my 5K at the end of October!  Wait a minute...was that ME talking?  Did I really just say I can't wait to RUN? 

 LOL - amazing how when you change the way you look at things...the things you look at change.

Eating well today - already have 50 oz of water down and more to come

Hope you all are well - I'm living proof that you can fall off the wagon, dust yourself off and hop back on the sucker.  Looking forward to looking forward for the first time in a long time.

Welcome back! We've missed you! I had to take some time off because of bronchitis - ~2.5 weeks!!! Congrats on the running! I'm hoping to get back to my Couch To 5K program tomorrow - I haven't decided what week of training I'm going to go back to .... I'll let you know...we may end up being on the same week!!
