CHOOSING to let go

Marty once told me that it's not the body that holds on to the fat...it's the mind.  So, in reality, it's all in your head...holding on to the fat is all in your head.

From this moment on...I choose to let go.

I let go of the fat...I let go of the pain being fat caused me...I let go of the worry...I let go of the negative thought...from this moment on...I let go.

I'm going to begin my challenge soon.  Next week is the follow-up doctor appointment with my orthepedic surgeon.  He'll be giving me the green light to take off this franken-boot and finally get my butt back in the gym.  I'm excited about this!  To get back in the gym and to work my body...to help my muscles get strong again and to help my joints loosen up again.

I already have my goal for my next challenge.  By October 7th (my birthday) I want to be 230.  Once I reach this goal I will go in for infertility treatments.  I'm turning 39 and want to give birth before I'm 40.  So, I have a LOT of cardio to do along with toning weight training.  I'm putting running on the shelf until I lose more weight.  Stress fractures are nasty things that take LOTS of time to heal when you are heavy.

Feeling good today...drinking my water...eating my healthy nutrition...thinking my positive thoughts.

I understand the mind body conection and how it influences what you do and who you are. However, I still believe that physiology not psychiology has more to do with our weight. Kept plugging away. I will be rooting for you.
