C1 - Day 3
Today I will concentrate my intention on trusting the process and letting go of the outcome. Bill's latest blog truly inspired me to make this a priority in my life. For so long I have over-analyzed everything down to the most minute detail. My meals (i.e. EXACTLY how many calories, carbs, protein I'm eating), my goals (picking weight goals and consistently questioning whether or not they are realistic...doubting myself and the process).
Bill's blog has given me new food to feed my brain. What if I just let go...set my intentions on my goals and truly let go of the outcome. This is something new to me (and I'm sure many of you as well). Letting go means giving up the control. It means stepping back and letting things flow as they should flow without obstruction from our own insecurities. Truly letting go and letting GOD is a very ZEN concept...doing without doing...
I set my intentions today over my goals:
1) I intend to lose 25 pounds and 10 inches in 18 weeks.
2) I intend to consistently find my anger triggers and journal them
3) I intend to awaken each day with a smile on my face and give thanks for at least 1 blessing in my life
4) I intend to finish the 18 weeks and turn in my packet no matter what
I know what to do - it's time to do it and enjoy the journey.
Nutrition - Eating for Life:
Choosing foods in the correct portion sizes to feed my body calorie-energized foods. Choosing different types of proteins like Bill suggests in Eating for Life and eating more organic / anti-oxidiant rich foods.
M1: 1/2c. Egg whites - Whole grain bagel & slice of cheese
M2: RIGHT shake & banana
M3: 4 oz chicken breast, 3/4c. brown rice, 1 c. green beans
M4: 1c. Cottage Cheese, 1/2c. Yoguart & grapenuts
M5: Pasta w/ chicken
M6: Frozen RIGHT BOOST shake (Right w/ acai berry juice & anti-oxidian rich blueberries)
PLAY-outs - Let's get MOVING!
Today's play-out is a walk through the mall with a co-worker. During our walk we talk about each of our spiritual journeys and truly connect to our intentions. Yesterday's 40 minute walk was wonderful! Time passed so quickly I almost couldn't believe we'd actually gone the entire 40 minutes.
Daily Gratitude Attitude:
Lisa is truly an amazing woman! In posting her assignment #1 - she has shown her couragous spirit and her beautiful self. But it's not just her bravery that I admire, it's her STRONG WORK on her assignment #1. The powerful way she is connected to her inner condition truly will help her to achieve her goals! Lisa is truly set to make a powerful change in her life!
I intend to invite you to visit her profile page today to learn so much more about this beautiful and courageous woman!
