Becky, just ditch the diet soda as a habit. A year ago I was drinking two cases of diet soda a week. I'm down to about a can a day. Coffee and water instead. Although it is convenient in the summer because the wasps won't go anywhere near diet soda, because there's nothing in it but chemicals. That said, I still want my Diet Pepsi.
Julie, I've found that now that I am pretty religiously keeping track of my food, I can't bear an entire free day, it just doesn't fit in as a planned thing. Now I'm more about a day where I can have a free meal (without overdoing it!) and a treat of some sort. I found I would lose a couple of pounds during the week, then wipe it all out with a free day because I don't have enough control if I have the mindset of being able to eat anything I want for the whole day.

Todays run - 2 miles in 23 minutes, including one full mile at 6mph and a top speed of 7mph.
Lost two pounds since December 23rd (there was a bit of a peak during Xmas and New Years)! I am now the lowest weight since joining Transformation and have lost over thirty pounds. The best part of that is losing weight over the holidays, right through New Years.
This weekend I will post before/after/before pictures, including a comparison of my before picture from 2009 to the after picture from the HHC.
