Introduction, New Folks
Just a place to introduce yourself and say hi... Write out some things you hope to learn and share what you know!
I'll go first I guess, My name is Curt. I live in Washington State and I created this group to learn more about body building. I have many goals but one of them is not to look like Jay Cutler. I would rather be in overall health and look more like the guy's on the front of a Men's Health mag. I do want to add about 5 to 10 lbs of muscle and get my body fat to around 10% or less at all times. I dont know where I'm at with the body fat right now but I do have a set of calipers. Seems like you can measure yourself about a 100 different ways with this thing, so I'm looking for a little advise on how to use it and get an accurate measurement. Right now I'm 197lbs, 5' 11' tall |

Try this website: http://www.healthstatus.com/calculat...age-calculator
You can plug in your body dimensions and it will return your approx body fat percentages. |

Hello,
I just joined the group today (April 11, 2011) and I hope to get to know each the members in this group. I just turned 40, but would like to lose some weight by incorporating weight training and cardio. When I go to the gym to lift, I do not want to leave because it makes me feel so GOOD! I hope to post my meal plans and workout routines on the site, and get feedback from you guys and much needed support to continue through the 18 week challange. So far, I've been doing well with the meals, but I workout at home, the gym (sometimes), or at my martial arts class which sometimes after getting off work is hard to do. I hope to hear from everyone and thank-you for having me in the group! ![]() |
