Hi everyone,
I'm back from my work trip in the US. It was a very rewarding trip both in terms of work, and in terms of catching up with some brothers and sisters in Christ. My brother and I are doing the Melbourne marathon in Oct, so I've got to start getting into some running training. Rohan's 22 marathons in 25 days effort is certainly an inspiration. Thank you for your beautiful message. Great to hear that your trip went well...I dream of going to America one day! It's day four for me today (Thursday 21st). Doing well and loving the 5-25 workouts. I'm doing the City2Surf in 3.5 weeks so looking forward to the challenge! Hi everyone, Sorry to jump in to interrupt this group, but I'm a huge fan of Paul's and I'm following him!!
Fitpro, Nice pic! Paul, I'm thrilled you had a great U.S. trip! What state were you in?? I was so excited to see and be able to follow your posts on your profile! I'm not too good at using this website.... I just put this story on your profile, so I'll share it with your fellow Aussie's: I just went to have lunch at an outdoor cafe in NYC, and there was a woman behind me, choking. So I asked if she was ok, and she nodded yes, and then laughed, and told me it was her first day here. Where was she from? AUSTRALIA! I got so excited and told her about you right away, and that I saw you in Denver last year. She happened to stop in Denver on her way to NY! She is actually from Melbourne too, and sadly, I did not remember that you were in Melbourne. I gave her my business card, so hopefully she'll write and I'll tell her you're a neighbor! I gave her directions to Times Square, then found out it took 1 1/2 days of traveling to get here! Ugh.
