More Good Stuff
LIving in Colorado is such a blessing. We have so much beauty to cherish and a million reasons to be fit and in shape! Soon the leaves will be turning and fall will be in the air and there are a bunch of fun race/walk events coming up in September.
Here's a link to some of them: Fun Stuff September 14th at Inverness is the Tiny Miracles 5K September 27th in Pagosa Springs is the Mountain Chili Cha Cha. I personally like the Scream Scram on Friday, September 24th in Washington Park. The whole family can have fun with this one. Here's another great 5K at Washington Park in Denver, but they have them in other locations as well: It's Light the Night to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. And, here's the link to a great article about how to RUN your first 5K by Jen Murphy. This site is loaded with information and links for runners from beginners to marathoners. How to Run your First 5K Would anyone be interested in a Colorado get-together in September in the Denver/Metro area? Please post on this thread or email me. We might even be able to persuade our Colorado Champion Sharen Martin to join us. She is truly an inspiration and knows how to fire up one's enthusiasm and commitment! I hope this adds some interesting possibilities to your transformation fitness program and maybe will even help you establish some new milestones for achievement! What do you think, Colorado Transformers?!!! Would anybody like to meet at one of these gatherings and get to know each other? I think it would be fun, as well as beneift a worthy cause. And of course, Run the Rocks on October 12th, the week before the marathon! Run the Rocks 5K ![]() Last edited by jackieangel : 08-29-2008 at 11:53 PM. |
