Best Cycling shoes?
I don't actually own any cycling shoes. I signed up for (And convinced one of my friends to sign up for) a 42 mile run. I'd like to go and get a good pair of shoes for this. The shoes I have are good for my short stints, but something this long I think some better shoes may be needed. I just wear ADIDAS tennis shoes right now.
I generally use my bike for commuting to work, going to the store, ect. Basically if it's with in 10 miles of my place and the weather isn't terrible I use my bike. I think some cycling shoes might help for this too. Also on a side note, but a very cool side note my friend Ashley decided that if I am going to ride my bike at night I needed something brighter than what I was wearing and she picked me up a Pearl Izumi bright yellow and grey jacket for when I ride at night. :-) |

i would go to your nearest stoe that sepcializes in running. Alot of these places will analyze your gait especially running on a treadmill and then recommend the best shoe. I would not recommend running in cycling shoes. Most cycling shoes have a carbon fiber sole that support rigid foot support while riding in cleats. Check with a store that specializes in triathatlons for shoes.
