Hello

Hi eveybody. Looks like this forum has been pretty quiet - but I thought I'd pop in a say hello. My name is Alex. I'm just starting the transformation challenge. I've been on and off a road bike for a couple of years now. I'm riding a Cannondale Six13 and working on losing the weight. See you all later.

Hi Alex,
Transformation is the right place for motivation and to help keep you on track with your goals. Just keep looking and posting and asking questions and you will see how many wonderful people are out here waiting and wanting to help all who are seeking.

P.S.
There are several folks around T-COM that are into bike riding. Surf around and join in on the conversations. By the way I purchased a Trek Navigator 2.0 last month. I love that thing. I need to get out a time or two soon because old man winter will be hitting here any moment.

Later,
Brian

Howdy, Alex. I'm Mike (muddyroy) and I signed up last week in order to start the Januarry challenge. I have a Bianchi road bike that I purchased several years ago when I was 210 lbs. I haven't ridden in a while because like a lot of folks, I let myself go to the point where it was uncomfortable to ride, if you know what I mean. I'm up to over 250lbs and at 5'6" and 58 years old, that's not a good thing. Right now, I commute on a Suzuki Sv650 street bike and though I love it very much, I know how much better off I would be if I did the comuute on the Bianchi. So here's some encouragement to a fellow cycling (both types) enthusiast. I think one of my goals will be to be able to ride a Century by next fall.....I'd better get crackin'....by the way have you ridden one?
God Bless You and your challenge.....MIke Berry...Grandview, Wa.
