I'd really like to run the relay! I'll take any leg! No punn intended here. If there is a problem with evening out the teams I will volunteer to run the 1/2. My goal for the 1/2 is sub 2hrs. Dan.

Count Me in!

Is there an "over 50 year old" team that I can run with?

Christine, I love your enthusiasm! As soon as I know all the logistics will work out here, I'll jump in! I don't want to commit until I KNOW I can be there. Woo hoo...such crazy talk!

I'm definately thinking about it! I already told my Husband I wanted to make it out to Colorado for the 1/2 marathon. Relay may be right up my alley!

I'd love to run a leg of this! I ran my first 5K this past fall- so I'm not sure if I could handle the 1/2 yet... eek!

I went to the site, am I reading correct that it's on October 19- a Monday?

Hey Jolee...you can walk/run the thing...whatever you can get comfortable doing by then...you have 9 months to get ready. You could sign up and train for a 10 K in a month or two....and see how that feels...once your start crossing over that 3 mile range it gets easier. Its exciting and motivating to sign up for something to train for...I hope you jump in with both feet! Susan

Ealfi are you coming to Denver for the marathon? That would be great!-Cathy

Jolee; the Marathon is on the 18th this year. The web site still has last years info up. But Regristration for this year will open up on the 30th of this month. Looks like we are going to have to book the Sherdan eairly to get enough rooms!
I am so looking forward to meeting all of you in OCT.

I'm in for the 1/2 marathon - my first ever. I may walk some of it, but hey, what better way to celebrate the start of a new decade in my life?

Last year, as a volunteer for the Denver Marathon, I handed out running packets and T-shirts the Friday before. In 2 hours, I handed out packets to three women who were in their 80's and they were all doing the FULL marathon!!! Now that was humbling!!!

Yikes, how do you go on a Transformation champ (vacation) cruise for 7 days and then 2 weeks later, run a 1/2 marathon.... WITH DETERMINATION AND FUN, THAT'S HOW!

I'm only now starting to run - week 3 of Couch to 5K program.... Anything's possible! I'll do the half marathon (i'm giddy about it as I type!).
