Are you thinking about running the Denver Marathon? Team Relay 1/2 Marathon Full

There are lots of options

Team Relay You can run with a Team of 4 members and the 26 miles is split into 4 legs
Distances
1st Leg: 6.0 mi.
2nd Leg: 4.1 mi.
3rd Leg: 9.1 mi.
4th Leg: 7.0 mi.

The 1/2 marathon is 13.1 miles

The full is 26.2 miles

What are you thinking??
We will begin the training programs approx June!

I am there. Flying over the Pacific ocean for it. I love Colorado, it is like my second home. It is going to be great to meet my fellow transformers. See you all in October.

Going out on a limb here but that's what this is all about...challenging yourself to achieve dreams! After watching the video of the Denver marathon it is one thing that I would love to do. So count me in for the 1/2.

Count me in! It helps that I live in Denver but one of my goals is to run the half. I'm an extreme beginner with high expectations! There is another group here called, "Want to run a halfmarathon/marathon" and it is a nice place to visit where some experieinced runners and beginners can talk and log training miles etc. It will be nice to get to know pwople before the event.-CAthy

Mark me down for the 1/2. I went to the marathon site and noticed the race is 2 days before my 38th birthday. If you told me 1 year or 15 years ago I would be running a marathon just before turning 38 I would have told you that you were freakin nuts. Getting FIRED UP just thinking about it.

I didn't know you could go 26.2 miles! Now, that might be a bit of a stretch. I am aiming for 13.1, but I don't know reality, so I'll focus on that. But I wouldn't consider a team run a failure by any stretch. Nice to know that option is there.

I'm really warming up to the idea. Even thinking about it feels like a big ol' bungee jump...

adrenaline rush.

Come on Jami you can run with me!! We'll all do this together!
