Ahem..awkward question for experienced marathoners

So,
I was running this morning on my treadmill and I was doing my scheduled 20 minute run. I like to be hydrated before a run and I am one of those every 10 minutes in the bathroom people. So, of course, I had to go 10 minutes in. Well, I only had 10 minutes left, so I knew I could hold it and go in a little bit.

What happens if you really have to pee on say...mile 6 of 26? When you gotta go, you gotta go... Are there rest rooms on the route?

Phew...I was talking about this to my husband and he said that I would just have to "let go" enroute. I knew he was teasing, but then I started wondering...

Though they are few and far between and ask Marty he waited in line for almost 20 minutes and left before using it.

I am going to Denver in October for the Marathon weekend! That is a long term goal for me. As of today, 15MAR09, I don't run. I still look for the closest parking spaces at the Wal-Mart! Great News! Walkers are welcome to participate in the Half Marathon! You just (JUST, yeah, right) have to be able to cover the 13 miles and change in less than four hours.

Training starts tomorrow!

Uncle Dave
