Inspired to transform...
Went to today's intro meeting and was inspired by Marcus. To see and speak with someone who has already succeeded and is enthusiastically engaged in helping anyone else wanting to Transform.
I am 59. Can I really do this? ![]() |

Welcome bapit,
Well, you took the first couple of steps....you got inspired by Marcus and you found, read and posted here. Wow, that is a super duper great set of starting steps. It is one day at a time. What is your next step? Many blessings to you, Chris My Next step is to get 7 hours of sleep tonight and to go to the gym first thing tomorrow after a healthy breakfast. |

Bapit,
It works! I will be 60 in September, and I went to Transformation Camp in June. I am a living, breathing testament that the program works, if you work it. I have lost 12 pounds in 5 weeks, and at least 3 inches in my waist. My strength in my upper body has become noticeable more (I can help my huband lift things I couldn't before), and my legs are becoming stronger and more firm. The key is to eat the 5-6 small meals each day, follow the exercise plan - and most important - read and work the steps! This transformation process is exactly that - a Transformation. You have to change your mindset while your body is changing! Good luck. And feel free to post any questions you might have. There are lots of people here to help. |

Hello, I am 52 and I am in Week 2. I am doing well so far. I have the Eating for Life cookbook at have tried several of the recipes. I love the pancakes. I have made it through all of my workout sessions, however there have been a couple of days when I have wanted to just blow them off. I just tell myself to get in the car and drive to the gym and it is only 25 minutes. It always happens that once I am there I want to workout. I look forward to what lies ahead and also to hear about your journeys. Dana

Hi Chris. Just hanging in there. Work has interfered in my ability to get online and post with any regularity. Also, sitting at my desk for hours at a time has done exactly what my pain specialist has said it will do.
So, up out of the chair for me every 2 hours, no matter what's going on. The last 2 months have been a huge trial for me. I've been able to stick to my food pretty well. And resisted a lot of temptations. People at work don't put much thought into what they eat, except that it's 'what they want'. My only challenge has been getting in enough exercise. I am working on that one. Need to get moving. Let's have a good week. Carmen |
