On my Profile page I received two "Welcome" messages under the heading "Scarbydancer's Comments". To the right of the messages are the words: "answer / delete" . I clicked on "answer" to send a comment back to them but it only appears on my own page, not theirs. How do I send a comment to someone? Thanks.

I initially had the same question and found that I had to go to the member's profile page to post a comment on their page instead of mine or send them a message or e-mail.
