Happy Saturday All!! Yesterday I stayed on plan however, didn't log it. Today is my free day or not. I slept in and ate a healthy breakfast with larger portions than normal - eggs, bacon, french toast. I will focus on water and healthy eating but not planned. And I do not plan on working out, 5/25 elliptical, but subject to change. So - I guess it is a free day after all - LOL!

Part of being transparent/honest - I was not going to share this on t.com and keep to myself. Reason being, if it was kept 'secret' would lessen the reality of it. November, my doc has suspicion that the diseases are back. He's not able to do surgery to determine for certain as there is too much scar tissue. He wanted to do treatments. After some thought, not much, I decided not to do treatments and follow alternative methods. This will require seeing a different doc once a week for three weeks every month. All that to say this - I will need to start working my 'day job' on Saturdays/Sundays to make up the hours. Today is the first Saturday this is required (previously, I used paid time off). I'm SO not looking forward to working weekend. My part-time job with Thirty-One, is the work I enjoy and the work I'd prefer doing. Lord willing, my part-time job will become my full-time job in His timing. For now it seems, I'll simply need to manage the situation focusing on the positive.

Off to work ... have a great Saturday everybody. I hope to get step 2 of round 2 completed later today. Blessings!

Hi team!
Thank you for support and kind words about my puppy. He means a lot to me. Thanks God, he’s doing well and I’m grateful for every day!
Had great workout yesterday (Friday)– Cycle class (strength) – 45 min – it’s like going up the mountain for 30 min and down for last 15, it was hard, but fun. After that I did LBWO.
We attended night church service on Friday night, and I got up earlier than planned because of phone calls, got 6 h of sleep (usually have at least 7.5) and reached to sweets first thing in the morning before I knew it…but, I managed to recognize negative pattern and stop myself. Made oats and eggs and had 1 piece of dark chocolate with my coffee. This helped me to start my day right and take control over things. Went to the gym with my hubby and worked out in a cycling class together (followed by stretching and abs for me). Nutrition was good and healthy all day. Had a free meal with friends at dinner and glass of wine.

Tomorrow we’ll have horseback riding (first in 2 weeks, I can’t wait. I missed horses so much!)
Some grocery shopping to do and work around the house.

Have a great weekend!

I spent most of my day backtracking to fix everything I've touched ! I've finally decided to stop touching stuff. Wish I would have stopped way before I started chores.

Three mile cardio felt like torture and keeping food limited to shakes -- just not feeling so hot today.

Thia , your note made my day. I'm very fortunate to have you and others who seem to know when . When we get the chance to meet in person , I've got a hug and a big ole smooch on the cheek for you. That'll be another joyful day for me. Thanks .

Hi Everyone!

Had a great 5/25 UBWO this morning! Spent the afternoon helping my honey with renovations in the new place. We're scheduled to move the end of this month, and I'm getting nervous that all will be ready! He keeps finding new projects..."while we're doing this, we might as well do......" Arrgh! Huuumph! Oh well, we have two more weeks to get the place painted and wood floors done!

I'm so glad I have this group! You're my salvation!!!
Thia: No words can express how grateful we are for what you do! You're awesome!
Lori: Awesome news with the jeans! You go, girl!
Jenn: Keep up the great work! You're amazing!
Tom: Hope you made out okay w/ the diapers, etc! I have faith in you!
Roger: Great photos! Gosh, you have to be in such awesome shape with all your physical activities! Mt Shasta! I'm envious!
Hal: Great to see you here! Great progress!
Jess: What a Globetrotter you're becoming! Keep it going! Did you see "Iron Lady" yet? If so, a bit curious as to your thoughts...?
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Thia: I would like to join your group. I heard about your group from Larry and Sherry that were in Dusty's group that I was a part of. Dusty has shut down his diabetics group and so I'm looking for a new home. I am a diabetic, leaning towards a low/carb diet as found in the book Protein Power Lifeplan. A close to Paleo diet is the only thing aside from medication controlling my blood sugars. When I go off plan they shoot up. Exercise is helping to control blood sugar levels and so I hope that following a Transformation lifestyle with a reduced carb diet will be the trick for me. Please let me know if it is ok if I join this group. Thanks, Corey

Hey all

Spent most of my day in a classroom today as classes started up again. Had a decent workout last night and hit the hot tub for a bit. I don't know if I cut too many calories or if its just body shock this week but I haven't been feeling the best...but am working through it.

Stuck to a decent diet today, although I had a pop for the first time in almost a week...Going to spend some time with my wife and daughter tonight, go to church and the gym tomorrow..Planning on doing the BFL workouts starting this week.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

I know it is late so this will be a quick post.

I had a 5/25 HIIT workout on the elliptical tonight. I was going to climb some steps on the StepMill after my 5/25 but they took it out of the gym. I couldn't find it. So I walked on the treadmill for 47 minutes. I should say I strolled on the treadmill. After the first 10 minutes my low back and very top of my left leg was hurting so I slowed down and just strolled. I kept my HR at around 115-120. Ended up with the start of a blister on the ball of my left foot. OMG what was with my left leg tonight??? Tomorrow is another day.

Eating was clean.

I hope everyone has a Blessed Sunday.

Welcome Corrie.
I started in Dusty's group as well in 2010 and Sherry is a peach.

Saturday
Vitamins and Minerals
M1 Oatmeal with a scoop of Vanilla Whey, Banana
M2 Pear, Protein bar
M3 Mixed Asian plate at TNT while shopping - left the rice
M4 3 Manicotti in tomato sauce, pear
M5 4 pieces candied Ginger, apple, Muscle Milk Light

No workout today but some more shovelling and will get one tomorrow. It is incredibly cold. Windows frosted over. Went shopping with a light jacket and a scarf ... what a mistake. :-(
Tomorrow will be my Free Day.

Thanks Becca! Hope you get everything done in time at your new place. Maybe making a list of the absolutely necessary renovations and then a sort of wish list would keep your honey on track? I don't know...just a suggestion. Usually I'm the one who is a little ADD when it comes to cleaning or doing projects and I know a list helps keep me focused.

Wipp- we're frozen over here in southern Wisconsin too! Brrrr! I could use a hot tub! Hope you feel better soon. I've been staying away from the pop too. I was soooo tempted to have one today but I knew that one leads to more and I'm not going there right now.

Thia- Thanks for all you do to brighten our days! I know your words of encouragement really seem to come at just the right time. They made me smile today, and I'm grateful for your dedication and commitment to the group.

Lori- Way to not let your missing stair stepper stop you from finishing your workout!

John- You did your workout! Hope you feel better too!

Corey- Welcome!!! Sorry about the Broncos. My kids like Tebow too, but I think it's just 'cause his name is fun to say. We're Packer fans here. It's pretty much a sin not to root for the Packers when you're a cheesehead. Go PACK Go! hehe

Tom- You survive munchkin duty? I love it when the male figures have the opportunity to be in charge of my little ones. It seems to give them a new appreciation for what I do on a daily basis, AND it's great for my kiddos to have such positive male role models in their lives. Anyway, I'm sure you got through it alright...maybe even had a little fun?

Randy- I practically begged hubby to let me shovel the other day for my workout, but he insisted to snow blow, darn it! Keep warm!

All you Floridians- enjoy your weather! Us Wisconsinites are enjoying the first snow of the season- FINALLY! We had fun going sledding today, but I admit I've often thought of moving south. Our family is all here in the midwest, though, so that makes it tough to leave.

Lana- Way to be aware, take control, and start the day off right! Have fun on the horses! My Hannah used to do Hippotherapy and she just LOVED "her" horse, Marshmallow. There's something calming about being on a horse. I can see why you would miss it. She misses it too!

Jess- I love that you push yourself to go further than you intended! I have a tendency of doing that too. Doesn't it feel good to prove to yourself that you're capable of more than you thought? Nice work!

CamCam- Thanks for sharing your struggles with us. I know I appreciate your transparency because it allows me to know you better. We all have our "stuff," and I'm glad you feel you can trust us enough to share yours.

Doyle- Those veggies look YUMMY! What a great conscious decision to choose a healthy snack instead of mindlessly eating chips or whatever the alternative would've been. Proud of ya!

Roger-You never cease to amaze me with how active you are on a daily basis! You are a true inspiration!

Hal- Glad you managed to minimize the damage from the pizza and got yourself right back on track. It's what we do most of the time that matters, right?

Well, I got in another good workout tonight. I went sledding with my hubby and kiddos, and it was fun. I was a little worried about hubby taking Hannah down, but she did well and he even managed to pull her up the hill in the sled without her rolling out of the sled. PHEW! I took Kayla down the hill for her first time ever and she loved it too. Noah was all giddy when he went down with dad. It was a good time! Then I went to the gym after dinner and cranked out an 8.1 mile elliptical run, and boy did that feel great!

We woke up late this morning, so my eating was a little off today- not portion or choice-wise, just time-wise. Still pop-free though! Beat the temptation today! Whew!

I'm starting to get really excited for my healthy living church group to start up in a couple of weeks. I have all these ideas and plans running through my head and think it's probably going to be a good idea to write them down so I have some direction.

I talked with hubby about the 1/2 marathon training group starting so early and how we could make it happen, and he said he'd talk to his boss about leaving a little earlier on Wednesdays so I can go. He told me that he heard some talk radio program that stated that women feeling connected to a group results in the same feeling men would get if their salaries doubled. I guess when they put it in terms that hubby could understand, he actually got it. I have to give him credit that he's been good about taking care of the kids so I can get out of the house and do things, but now he understands even better about how important it is to me. Cool stuff, huh?

Alrighty well... tomorrow's plan is to get up early and go running a fun run with the group. I'm so excited to try out my new Yaktrax! I've NEVER ran in the snow before, and I'm anxious to do it! Well, as long as I can get up in time. I also want to get to the gym later in the day to do another FBWO. This is the time of year I tend to neglect my strength training, and I don't want to do that!

Tomorrow will be my free day with food, but by that I mean one free meal at dinner- PIZZA for the Packer game! K...time to get some shut-eye!
