Good Morning Team! Had a nice run and strength band class yesterday. Today is a run and then later some yoga. I am organizing some fun runs this summer so I began to shop for supplies. How fun! We are getting ready for a special event at work so I am busy doing art projects working on writing projects, etc. Looks like I am getting those kindergarteners after all at the end of the year so I am meeting with one of teachers to discuss him. Still think it is crazy to have a K student in a 2nd grade class. Always a challenge but one I know where no student is an accident in my life. I am working on some estimates for branches that have come in contact with our roof. Amazing how expensive it is getting to be. Frustrating since this should of been done years ago but thankful for getting the courage to finally deal with it.

Jane: What projects are you working on?
Mick: What workouts are you doing today?
Maria: What classes are you doing today?
Larry H: Life happens so don't worry if you can't make everything.
Teri: Hope your garden is doing well.

Good morning!

Bootcamp and possibly a HIIT class today. I think they arranged for me to give a free class to introduce it. I'll find out for sure when I get there!

Chris, are you second graders at a 2nd grade level?

Gott to run, the dog is ringing the bell......................

What a great day today!
Enjoy it, because this day only happens once in your lifetime!
As soon as I finish my 5/25 cardio run, I am off to transport a 15 year old boy to the Shriners Hospital. Planning to catch you all later!!

Grateful:
....that I "get to"......

Hi Folks,
Maria, sounds like you work for my wife. She arranges me to to do free things too.
Jane, thanks for the happiness list.
Mick, you "get to" do some really nice things. Thanks.
Terri, I feel your frustration waiting for answers that seem to not come. Hold on, girl.
Chris, you need to stay busy. Quit slacking.

Took a day off yesterday. Been in a funk. Today I'm doing weights and maybe some cardio as well.
I mentioned in the Masteries blog that my daughter called in tears the other day. A client of hers was murdered. This young lady lived a high risk lifestyle but certainly did not deserve this tragic end. That's part of my funk.

Gratitude
My daughter and her tender heart
Terri, and her fighting spirit
New ways of thinking
Less knee pain
Being able to exercise

Everyone, have a great day.

I have time for a quick check in before class and am going to get some lunch. Quick note about nutrition. Glad I started using Calorie Counter online...seems my sodium has been really high. Foods that I thought were not high in sodium are....like cottage cheese! It's great I can now eat SOME dairy, but definitely need to steer clear of that one except for my free day.

My plan: to incorporate 2 shakes a day in with 3 meals to cut down the sodium content of the two meals being replaced.

Today I will do my HIIT on the bike and tomorrow is a TBWO and HIIT together if I want Saturday and Sunday off completely.

Gratitude for Today
Unconditional support from my group
Unconditional acceptance from Jesus Christ
Weeding out negative "friends"

Chris, I love how you recognize that no student (or person) is placed in your life by accident. Divine encounters I think they call them.

Maria, LOL, even your dog is keeping you on the run. Make some time for yourself today, too.

Mick, The quote is so true. It also neat that you allow yourself to be a blessing to others. Your Rock!

Jane, Looks like a great day planned with your heart and mind in the right place. Enjoy!

Len, Glad to you've jumped back on the horse. There is a lot of evil in the world that can drag us down at times. Sometimes I dislike (almost typed hate) watching the news because it's about 98% bad news. Sending you some positive energy your way.

Erin, Same here, always learning more 'stuff''. I'm glad that I don't think that I know everything. Here's to tweaking our lives as we progress to our best.

Another beautiful day here, although a bit windy. Haven't had any allergy symptoms for about a week. It feels so good to feel Good! I enjoyed the vegan diet during Lent, but after reading some of Debby Stinsons' posts I realized that I should have been taking some supplements along with it. I'll do more research next time and I plan on having some vegan and vegetarian days every now and then. But I do welcome back fish, chicken, eggs, and dairy products back into my diet, yum. I've learned so much about nutrition and fitness on this site and there is so much more to learn. Progress not Perfection (yet).

Today's plan:
Fuel:
M1 - Egg white omelet (tomatos, onions, cheese)
M2 - Orange
M3 - Vanilla RLS w/cranberry juice
M4 - Grilled chicken, brown rice, broccoli
M5 - Vanilla RLS
M6 - Peanuts
Exercise:
AM - Yoga & Abs
PM - 5/25 cardio & easy 3 miler in park.
Gratitudes:
I am thankful for beautiful sunrises and sunsets,
...for my gifts from God (kids & grandkids)
...for the internet so that I GET TO connect with you all.

May you all feel God's love and peace today.

Mick- so glad you get to help those kids.
Jane- sounds like you are staying on task!
Len, that is very sad. I gave up watching a majority of the news because I would have nightmares from them.
Erin, I gave up most dairy with an occassional piece of cheese but I take enzymes with them.

Larry, is that a picture of where you live?

I taught the class with 3 people in it. They were fit and ready. A bit of a change from my regulars. Although one lady had a lot of trouble with the stability ball.
Came home with a migraine- odd because I haven't had one in a while.

tonights menu: BEEF- it's whats for dinner!

Maria, I wish! No mountains like that in Oklahoma. That's a pic of the Grand Tetons, on of my favorite places on earth.

Love the colors Maria! My students are functioning between 2 and 6 but I love loads. Any change changes the room. but I know I will better anyone who comes into my classroom with the help of Christ.
