Happy Monday!

I am getting ready to go to physical therapy after I get the kids out the door for school. My back and leg are feeling much better - I actually slept for 4 hours instead of 2. I just wish I could tell if the numbness in my toes was better or if I am just getting used to it......

Starting my 12 weeks and my 18 weeks today.
Is there a place to post pictures for the 12 week challenge?

Meals for today
Protein shake
Cottage cheese, yogurt
Homemade veggie soup
Protein bar
Salsa chicken with brown rice and veggies
Protein shake

Exercise
Physical therapy and walking in the turtle pool

Gratitude
All the people who have donated sick days to me so I get a paycheck at the end of the month
My wonderful family
Maggie our dog for always being happy to go for walks with me

I hope everyone has a Marvelous Monday!
Dawn

Morning crew, last week I decided to go to Bill's 3 day camp, then decided not to, then decided to. On one hand it is kind of an "out of my comfort zone" thing. However, I know in my heart I want to have this as my lifetime lifestyle and I want to get to the mindset of not having challenges to live it. I think what these challenges have done is to give me a start and finish date and I want to get past that.
A week ago the long range weather was very wet so I figured the ground would be too wet to work and taking this time off would be ok. Yesterday evening I took a tractor out and the ground was fine so I will be battling the guilt of being away when I should be working, although this is for a very good cause.

I started back into resistance work last week and Friday was chest and arms, worked until failure, Sat was sore, Sunday very sore today better. Weekend meals were off but focused this week.

Wishing all a wonderful day

What a beautiful Monday. UBWO in the books, riding the trails this aftn. with my son. Working around an injury to my forearm and right side lower back. Not sure how it happened. Probably just old age. Going to use my inversion table for my back to keep it streched out. I will not let it slow me down too much.

Headed out to sit in the warm sunshine, have a great week.

Dave

Exercise Monday
1. UBWO (chest, arms, abbs)
2. Trail ride (1 hr)

Fuel Monday
1. 2 eggs, apple
2. 50 gram post UBWO protein shake
3. Filet, salad
4. Right Light shake with spinach, and strawberries
5. EFL chicken enchaladas
6. TBD

Today I am grateful for.
1. Clean cars
2. Green grass
3. The sounds and smells of Spring

Wow. Made it through the weekend. Thank God it's Monday.

Starting week 8 today, so I'm in unchartered areas.

I'll do the Power 90 resistance training tonight along with a nice long walk afterwards.

I'm going all shakes today to recover from the pizza yesterday.

Good Monday Morning,

Finished up with another excellent total body workout. I did better on some exercises than I did last week and some I messed up on. But I kept trying and working it to the best advantage I could. I'm also down another 1 lb. to 228.

Today is the first day of break, and I have Ally for the 2 weeks I'm off. She's just now waking up after a play session that lasted until almost midnight. She's still adjusting to being away from home and mom for the first time. I'd say, she's doing pretty good.

Well, I best get on with it and get her breakfast ready.

THE Plan:
M1: Shakeology and Supps
M2: Oatmeal, Scoop of protein
M3: Greek Yogurt
M4: Grape Chicken Salad
M5: Baked Salmon and Steamed Veggies
M6: Protein Shake

I'm grateful for another day, a Spring break, my grandbaby Alina and my increasing strength and health...

Have a great day!

Al

A quick check in for me too.
Just running out the door to the gym for my workout then rock climbing with the kiddos.

My meals have been ok, except #4 natural peanut butter on ww toast with a banana is a bit of a stretch but pre workout, it's what I fancied.
In this for the long haul.

Congrats on the weekend wins and here we go Mondays

Nat-- I'm sure there are many saying natural peanut butter on whole wheat toast...and a banana is not so bad. You should be proud you feel bad about that one. There are many more meals that can be considered horrible, and I can name a bunch.... (that one is far from horrible) in my eyes, so keep going strong. Jealous of the rock climbing....I want to go too

My monday did not go exactly as planned with my exercise my nutrition was on target but I had a long meeting cutting into my gym time then my daughter started having complications with her pregnancy that I missed my fitness boxing class which is ok because her and the baby's health comes first. Tomorrow is a new day and I have a 7 am fitness boxing class and 4pm gym time. I will plan on at least 2-3 meal replacement shakes and 2 meals complete with a protein (chicken & salmon) and fresh veggies and 1 serving of berries.
