Morning guys!
Off to paint. Hope everyone has a beautiful day. Oh I wanted to clarify that my lack of sleep the other day was self inflicted. I was like a kid on X-mas eve, as I was excited to start painting in the morning. I'm also very energized w/ this almost Summer like weather!!! I'm sleeping fine again w/ the help of Pure Rest/ melatonin.

To make for a better day today:
1) I will be 100% spot on w/ dedication to self!

My life is truly full & blessed.

To start my day, Mellie’s creed & other positive connections
: Yes J

Exercise
: just painting today. Listening to my body, ouch!

Meals
:
Shakes & salad. Getting too hot outside for soup.
Tilapia for dinner again
14 oz. of water before each meal & during & after workouts.

Supplements
:
1 Probiotic, 1Flax seed oil, 1 fish oil, B vitamin complex, vit D, multi vitamin, protease enzyme & pure rest every second night.

Meditation
:
Tonight. J

Win for yesterday
:

1) 100% spot on w/ nutrition. J
2) Bonus, got in a 3 mile evening walk also. J

Gratitude for:
1) The bird singing just outside my window. J
2) the simple pleasures of life. J
3) serenity. J

What I can do today to achieve my goals: I know I never change these goals, but I do read them every morning. I also look at that fat /muscle picture. Mental clarity & visuals help me stay focused most of the time.
1) Stay focused on personal growth, nutrition & exercise.
2) Keep visualizing the real me to come & to give it all I have!!!
3) Live in gratitude.
4) Know that I have control over my destiny.
5) Give & do for others w/ compassion in my heart. (sharing, listening & inspiring them to do well).

Headimg out on the bike for a 30 mile ride. Need to get going before it gets to 85 degrees. Feels more like summer than the first day of spring.

Here is a pic of this great weather we have been having. I will be back with my day later tonight.

Good Morning!

Today up early boxing then will clean before having a friend come over for lunch. I am making us a roasted chicken salad with many veggies.

We are going to discuss playing GAME ON a book written by Krista Vernoff the head writer of Grey's Anatomy. It was one of the funniest diet books I have ever read. It is basically Body For Life with a game to it. Too fun since my friend and I are doing this together.

Hey Mellie of course we miss you!

Morning crew, getting anxious to get going with spring planting. These longer days of sunshine and even clouds energize me to get out and get things done. I just don't like the short daylight days, that seems to be my worse time for unhealthy choices.

I got a 5-25 aerobic and 30 min. swim in yesterday. Today will be core and swim.

I ended up with the last spot at Bill's camp in Denver this weekend. I will be leaving tomorrow morning. I'm pretty nervous about this because I'm not comfortable being in groups and talking, opening up etc. I'll probably be in the corner sucking my thumb. My goal is to come away with a mindset of lifetime commitment of a healthy lifestyle.

Len - way to stay committed, hopefully these aches and pains are not injuries.
Sherri - a 7 smiley day . You're "sounding" great
Nat - hope all is going well. Not only do you need to do UBWO and cardio, you will do. Right?
Dave - that pic just screams - get outside now!!!
Rhonda - sounds like good news for your cousin. Good idea to to do your HIIT and derail the binge time.
Michele - Game On sounds like fun and a way to keep motivated and engaged with a partner.

Wishing all a wonderful day, Bill

Man, I love this workout. Active recovery is where it's at. That myofascial release is money. I never felt so relieved of tension in my entire life. I really gave it everything this morning, working through the tightness and the rewards is indescribable.

Milestone Alert! Here is an excerpt of my 18 week goal I set. Mind you, I still have approximately 9 weeks left in this transformation challenge:

"Within 18 weeks, I will be 25 lb. lighter, and that my weight on the last day, first thing in the morning, before my breakfast will be 224 lbs."

Well, this morning the scale reads, "224.4 lbs." I am beyond excited, pumped, stoked and fired up. That's a 26.6 pound loss to date, 23.6 since I officially began Mellie's 18 week challenge.

See the importance of having a goal? Now what? Well, you set another goal. I still have 9 or weeks to go. I will seriously contemplate the next step and make sure it is challenging and specific.

THE Plan:
M1: Nutter Butter Chocolate Shakeolgy N Supps
M2: Greek Yogurt
M3: Tossed Spinach Salad with mixed veggies and Turkey Breast N Supps
M4: Protein Bar
M5: Still deciding Dinner
M6: Protein Shake

I'm grateful for my health, my visiting Allygirl, my opportunity to learn and grow..

Namaste,
Al

Super quick check-in ... feeling swamped and overwhelmed at times ... GRATEFUL that I KNOW to count my blessings and find moments of gratitude throughout my day!!!!

Had some rocky moments in the last couple of days ... not having time to spend here and reading, being motivated, sharing accountability threw in another monkey-wrench ... but I'm up and moving forward!!!! ... today has been stellar and I'm very pleased with myself!!!!!!

Taking dad to the oncologist after school and hopefully we'll hear that his CA-19 numbers are going down!!!!

Had an INCREDIBLE experience at the Y last night ... so grateful to have the opportunity to teach Zumba!!!!!!

Cinderella had to first recognize that her problem wasn’t her evil step-mother. Her problem was that it was easier to hide out cleaning the house than it was to go out and find happiness … It took some very large ovaries for Cinderella to make a change, to trade in her scrub-brush for a fabulous pair of dancing shoes. But boy, was it worth it!

Good morning all,

Well, today didn't start out like I'd planned. Upper body this morning at the gym. everything felt like there was someone pushing down on the weight. Reps were down today but I got through it. Spinning tonight. Looking forward to that.

Meals today:

B: Protein shake with banana
L: Yogurt with fruit
S: Protein bar
D: Turkey goulash

Gratitude today:

To Gracie for everything as always. you made my day yesterday when you asked why daddy always goes to the gym? I told you it's because I want to be skinny. You said, daddy you already are skinny.
To my family for always being there. Don't know where I'd be without you
TO our group for daily support, encouragement and accountability

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Hello Crew,

What a day yesterday was as Sophie and I spent the day cleaing the garage and looking forward to the Lawn on Thursday (especially seeing that Nice Green grass Dave!! Tomorrow I am off from work and will get a lot done out in the yard after we go to her Gram's house and turn off the heat that is still on low.

Nutrition:
A lot of clean eating today and Grilled chicken from the BBQ (This time Sophie made it, while I was at work---sweet). one gallon H2O an feel good.

Exercise:
5/25 today and core

Al--Great job with the plan that you are sticking to it and your goals are just falling right in place---awesome!!!
