I Am
.....Jackie, a middle-aged woman who has lived several decades and failed many times to achieve my goals and live my dreams. Yet, each time I "fail," I grow stronger and more determined to succeed. I have many roles - wife, sister, aunt, friend. Yet, who I am is a child of God and what I care about most is serving God by serving humanity humbly and well.

Being "born again" every day to a higher vision of who I am and what I can do to better myself and be the best I can be in service to others.
My Goals
1. Physically: Lose 50 pounds and be fit and healthy. A size 8 would be perfect for me. 2. Emotionally: Feel in control of my life and myself. 3. Spiritually: Be the best I can be to serve God and the people of this world. 4. Community: give back wherever I can be of help, with my primary focus being the Food Bank of the Rockies.
My Intentions
I intend to reach my goal weight of 116 pounds by August 17, 2009. I intend to run the Denver 1/2 marathon in 2009. I intend to inspire those of my generation to take charge of their health and to stop popping pills and looking to the medical establishment to fix what we have the power to fix for ourselves with clean eating and exercise.
Who I'd Like to Inspire
I am a woman in my 5th decade. It is my goal to inspire "baby boomers" to reclaim their power from the medical establishment and regain control of their health and their lives. And if I can inspire even one young "Gen X'er" or "Gen Y'er" to eat clean and exercise, well, that would be the crowning glory of my transformation!

Hey Jackie! I haven't been to active on here lately either...glad to hear from you!!!! I'm sure I'll be getting lots more moose pictures this winter...usually in the winter they practically live on our property. My hubby got me a really nice camera last summer so this winter I am on a mission for great moose pictures! LOL...Have a great week!
