I Am
I am a 44 yr old woman, mother of 4...the youngest child just turned 18. My journey to becoming physically fit began in October of 2007 when I discovered BFL. The journey is teaching me how to push myself to new limits, how to like myself, and how to be proud of myself and my accomplishments. Being healthy, pushing myself to new limits and setting a positive example for my family and friends are very important to me.
All the signs pointing in the right direction...
It is such an awesome feeling to become aware of the Holy Spirit speaking to you. It really is true. Ask and you shall receive.I pray every morning for God's guidance. It find it so mind blowing and incredibly awesome how He answers me...and I find it utterly amazing how the t

Melodi: I was reading your blog on truth or excuse.I believe in everything you said.I was one to always start the transformation then give in.As I look at both my daughters, they are both heavy, which is probably my fault. Now it is time to set the example.I have stayed on coarse for 5 weeks now.I came home yesterday and my oldest was doing arobics ( she has lost 10 pnds in 3 weeks. My youngest has said she no longer wants little debbies in her lunch box.so i know it is working, We lead by setting the example. When we get healthier we have more energy for our kids more quality time.Playing, riding bikes.I myself am not going to bed at 8 00pm any more .I have more energy I can sprnd more time with them.thanks again It gives me more boost to finish god bless shelia

Just stopping in to say Hello! Hope things are going great in your "Be the Change Challenge".
Loved your post in the random acts of kindness forum.... You are so right about people in customer service jobs who may be overlooked when it comes to people expressing gratitude to them. Last Thanksgiving I needed something last minute for the Thanksgiving festivities and when I went through the checkout at the grocery store I had a little chat with the cashier. When it was time for me to go, I looked her in the eye and said, "Thank you for being here at work today on Thanksgiving...For all of us..." I could tell it took her aback and she paused, looked me in the eye in return and sincerely thanked me for saying that. You can tell the words really landed on her. Free Love:+) Keep spreading your light! :+)Rena
Just wanted to say hello! I hope your journey is everything you ever dreamed of and MORE! Hugs of support,Laura
