I Am
ready to be ALIVE!!!! I have been hiding the real me for a long time now. I am ready to let her out & shine! I found BFL in 2000 & did my 1st challenge in 2001. A tragic event in 2001 turned my world upside down. I became pregnant right after I finished my challenge. What started out as a beautiful happy time, turned into the most difficult thing I have ever had to endure. One week before I was to give birth to my first daughter, she died. She was stillborn. I gave birth to her, I held her, I loved her. She was over 7 lbs & perfect in every way. I held God's perfection in my arms that day. When she died, I died too. I got lost in grief & then depression. For years I was stuck in this cycle. When I "woke up" from it all I realized I the "old me" was gone & I was not happy with the person that was left looking back at me in the mirror. I tried to bury my pain. I found comfort in food & hiding from the world. I let myself go. I hated who I was & it showed. I got pregnant right away & had another child 1 year later & got pregnant again 8 months after he was born & had another daughter. 3 full term pregnancies in 2.5 years time , grief, depression, being a mom to 2 little ones while still mourning took it's toll on me. I also have 2 boys who are now grown. So I am a mama to 5 & wife to 1! I have been struggling with how to lose this weight. I have been struggling with how to change my mindset. I just can't do it alone. When I say that Bill's challenge came at the perfect time, I mean it! I just need a little help, a little guidance & a lot of support. I can do the work! So this is my story up to now. I can't WAIT for the next chapter.

My Goals
My goal is to go from 174 lbs of flabby to 135 lbs of firm in 18 weeks. My goal is to go from size 16 to size 8 in 18 weeks. What does that mean bodyfat percentage wise? I dunno..I just know what I will look like!!
