Just gotta laugh about it!

So do you ever feel like you are really being tested? I know I do. Things seem like they are starting to go really good and then wham, you get hit with something new.

Yesterday started off great. Got up early, got some things done and headed into work. As I was getting things sorted through in my office, I walked out into the salon and a couple of the girls were pointing at the ceiling and another was getting trash cans. One of the ceiling panels was sagging and ready to drop. Water was running down from it. I grabbed something to poke a hole to release the water above through the hole, just as I was ready to poke it, the whole thing came crashing down. Water was running out of the air handler pan up above. I ran outside with the shop vac and started vacuuming out the condensation pipe. It pulled tons of water out. I came back in and the pan was still dripping. I stuck the shop vac hose into the pan and drained 6 shop vac full (It's a small shop vac, about a gallon size). A couple of times the hose came loose and water went everywhere, then it got too full and water starting spraying out the exhaust end of the vac. Up on the ladder, ready to cry, I looked at the girls and just started laughing. They must have thought I was crazy. Down below me looked like a total disaster. I climbed down, now the water was drained out of the pan, no longer dripping, I went and got a panel out of the vacant room and put it up there. We cleaned up the mess and went on with our day. In the past, I would have completely lost it. It just hit me up on that ladder, what is freaking out going to do, this is actually comical, I just started laughing.

Today, I left for work, ran some errands. The ABS light came on in my Tahoe. I called Tom and he said it might be low fluid. I pulled into AutoZone, I looked under the hood and it was full. Problem was, truck was shut off and I could still hear something running. I ran across the street to the Jiffy Lube and asked one of those guys, he shook his head and said sorry, that's your ABS pump. You better get to the dealer ASAP. I ran over to the dealer and he shook his head and said sorry, that is going to be $1100. I just laughed and thought, it is a damn good thing I bought my eliptical and recumbent bike this weekend or that stimulus check would have gone for truck repairs. So I thought, well, got to get it done, that is what credit cards are for. So my truck is getting fixed and I am grateful that it was paid off last year and I have no truck payment. It could be worse right?!

I am really starting to realize, this is all small stuff! Don't Sweat it!

Hope you all are having a great day!

Oh yes...it could be much worse. Glad you were able to get things taken care of.
