Injuried again
I am taking off from upper body resistance training due to an injury I received mountain biking. It is not going to feel good doing this but I know from experience the necessity of rest for healing. I injured my right elbow a small fracture to the radial head. It is gonna take about 4-6 weeks to heal. So only leg and lower body workouts for now. Mountain biking lite stuff only. Injured again.......... Bummers... Aaron Aliiloa

Injuries suck
I injured my tricep on the seated tricep press machine weeks ago and still can't do much upper body work. That's life, I guess. "This too shall pass." Don't let it get ya too down! -Karyl |

The most important thing to watch whilst you're "benched" through injury is to watch what you're eating - as far as exercise is concerned, just do what you can. Good luck buddy !

Thanks guyz!! Well what I thought was a re-fracture to the elbow turned out to be a condition called tennis elbow caused from the fracture I had in that joint area. Although I don't know what takes longer to heal fracture or tennis elbow. But I have a feeling that I will be on track soon. It is a sign of the times I be gettin old..... My grandmother use to say before she left this wonderful world we live in,"Age before beauty ,life begins at forty and that Rome wasn't built in one day". Man.... Was she ever so right! LOL!!! I believe injuries and personal setbacks are challenges given to us for a reason. I'm fully recovered from a knee surgery (1996), lump in chest (2003), sinus surgery (2005), and shoulder surgery (2008). I'm rockin' now, I can full squat and do lateral raises and everything. The more challenges that get thrown at me, the STRONGER and BETTER I become....
