What is your personal experience with The Power of Now

I am curious!

What are your personal experiences with the Power of Now. How has these teachings helped you be more conscious and how has it helped you to live a better life?

I'm currently reading " A new Earth" but with a new born and a 2 yr old in the house, it's taking time. My mother and wife stated that I should read " The Power of Now" because it fits me. Not that I'm not introspective but when people or my wife ask me what I'm thinking, it's usually in the "now". I'm usually taking in the environment I'm in. I can't speculate based on the book but I have it and it's the next in line after this one.

Hello Ola and Everyone in the Group. I was really attracted by the description and main focus of this group (BTW, the logo is very fitting).

After taking a serious look back at various failed BFL attempts or other exercise/nutrition programs to loose weight and get my health back, I came to realize that tapping onto my inner power and spirituality was a key ingredient missing in all those previous ventures. I have to confess, I have not read the "Power of Now", but I already checked its availability at a near by bookstore and intend to purchase it tomorrow. I will post comments soon.

The best to all of you,

Ikigai :-)

Well, I'm glad this group is around. I read both Power of Now and A New Earth by Eckart Tolle and I'm actually in my third read of A New Earth. Both are wonderfully written and have helped me to understand that I am not the thoughts that repeat themselves daily so I cannot continue to allow those thoughts to govern what I do, How I do what I do, or how I feel. I believe that this group is very very fitting in my transformation challenge because there is almost nothing more important than our thought process. So this is great! Anyone who hasn't read these books, put them on your reading list, they are sure to help along this Transformation process.

I'm in the middle of chapter three - very enlightening! I struggle with compulsive thoughts, so this book is right up my alley.
