Today's thoughts from Hazelden are: Formula for failure: trying to please everyone. ***** The elevator is broken; use the steps. ***** You are the problem, but you are also the solution. ***** Reason to be grateful #863: you learn to wake up instead of coming to. ***** Improve your memory -- tell the truth. ***** Numb is dumb; feel to heal. |

1. First things first
2. It is a spiritual axiom that whenever we are disturbed, no matter what the cause, the problem lies in ourselves (paraphrased). 3. One day at a time |

In my 23+ years of sobriety I have used the following tools everyday with great success and today I am applying these same tools to my physical transformation.
1. Everyday when I wake up I ask God to give me strength to do his will throughout my day 2. I make a conscious decision not to drink today 3. At the end of the day I thank God for keeping me sober another Day!! Wow Life is Great. |

Bobby I love your courage and your words. very powerful!
Forgive yourself and ask for God's forgiveness. know in your heart' s there are so many people to open their arms to you. always lend a listening ear to those in need. keep your life in check and busy enough to not stray the other way. surround yourself with positive people who lift you up. cherish yourself highly, and protect your Body from harm. |
