RL- Creative Thinking Friday by DrewryMedia

Within our personal transformations, unique things take place within changing ourselves for the better. With change on the outside, a more positive attitude forms on the inside. Benefits of feeling good about ourselves include an increased positive outlook on our lives , as well as creativity in all we do.

Creative thinking can be used in a variety of ways. One such way it can be applied is through the way you prepare foods, whether it's for yourself, or for the family. For example, instead of baking chicken in the oven with heavy sauce and lots of seasoning, you may potentially consider steaming chicken, and preparing a low fat sauce in another pot. In saying this, it's the way we do things, and how we do it, that brings out the best in us. With creative thinking, comes along strategic planning for success! :-)

Creative thinking can also consist of how we are of service to one another. An example of being creative may potentially be something along the lines of writing a heartfelt poem just for a special someone to lift up their spirits, in their time of struggle. Or, how about just doing something nice for no reason at all, in thinking creatively? During your Transformation journey, it is inevitable that you will become more of a creative thinker. Speaking on my behalf, my creativity has vastly increased :-)

So, now that I have you thinking about how creativity has potentially increased along the progress of your Transformation journey, can you please share with the Transformation community how creativity has impacted your Transformation in anyway possible, whether it be:

* In the kitchen cooking fancy meals

* Relating to others

* Random acts of kindness

* And anything additionally you can think of.

Please take a moment to share with others how being involved within the Transformation community and Transforming your mind and physique for the better has helped you become a more creative individual. :-)

Thank you all so much for your precious time reading this Friday morning thread,

Shawn Drewry

The biggest thing about Transformation that has increased my creativity is TIME. I'm not eating all the time! Or working out all the time! I'm more balanced, which frees up my mind. I'm going to work on a new canvas this afternoon and give it to my niece for her birthday. I've started 4-5 new paintings since Transformation.

I'm also more creative in my food selection. I'm eating fruits and veggies that I always thought were too much work to cook & eat. Now, I'm adding them into my daily nutrition plan in creative ways. Blueberry vanilla Right LIght shakes....YUM! Who knew?!

Thanks for the wonderful thread Shawn. Happy Indepence Day!!!

Well this is just fabulous Shawn! I have actually found that using a program called PICASA (Free on google) that I can do wonderful things with my pics and it ignites the creative side of me. LOVE IT - brings smiles to those around me....Not as fancy as the banner Mr. Haro creates for everyone - but a start - I am a "Haro apprentice" at heart ::grin::

Have a beautiful Friday Shawn!!

BostianSk, I find myself like that at times, but it helps me to focus more on balancing everything :-)

And WisdomCMT, Picasa does do wonders for pics I think. I never took the time to get too deep into Google picasa :-)

I have become creative planning and preparing my meals. When I was eating unhealthy I had convinced myself that eating foods that were good for my body would be boring, with little options and just not any fun. Now that I have incorporated healthy eating into my life I am amazed at how many food choices there are and how sitting down to a beatiful plate of food that I intentionally made to nourish my body is way more fun than inhaling McDonalds in the car ever was!!

Hey Everyone,
I have sure been MIA in the RL team, but I am still here! Been a rough week for me on choices, but am determined to see this round through as well.

I have been creative in managing time for my workouts. (except for yesterday!) I schedule my workout on my calendar at work so that I don't have meetings thrown at me and I can get to the gym for an hour. It really helps me with stress when I can get those work outs in!

Great thread, Shawn! I hope you and Sunshine302 are having a WONDERFUL time!

The Creativeness comes out in me when I am going on Wish Interviews and are being with Children who have the Opportunity to Dream and pick a Wish for themselves and the knowingness that they will get their Wish granted and one of their WISHES will come TRUE. It allows them to have something FUN to do and also allows them to look forward to living out their DREAM/WISH and it takes them to another place where they don't have to think about their illnesses/doctors visits but can whole-heartedly ENJOY themselves! I love being a part of making the Children's Wishes Come True!

I hope everybody is having a WONDERFUL Holiday weekend!
Cindy
