This is group is for me...and for you!

Together WE can do this, we can ROCK the Spring

Transformation Challenge, we can all finish strong and we can ALL hit our goals.

If we want to, we CAN. We can succeed TOGETHER. I have tried several Challenges before and failed. But this is about not giving up, just as much as anything else, and this time I am going to do it. Would love the help and support of anyone who wants a group to join to keep each other going. I spent way too much time trying to find a group for this Challenge, and I couldn't, so I decided to just make one. I have invited everyone on my friends list, because it has always made me feel special to get invites, whether I was able to join the group or not. One group is really all I could ever handle, due to time commitments. If you did not get an invitation I would love to have you join if you would like a group to be a part of.[

Thank you both for joining, and for inspiring me here already. I am going to have to pick it up in order to try to keep up with both of you! That's a good thing!

Vic, I love the pic. I might actually enjoy running more if I could do it somewhere as scenic as that! LOL! It sounds like you are off to a great start! I hope you had good weather for your run!

Wil, you are very welcome! And thank you for accepting and being here to make a difference with us and help each other stick with it! We are going to rock this Challenge!

I slacked today. I did do 3 sets of 15 each of crunches and pushups, but that is it. Hitting the gym hard tomorrow. I will count this as my free day this week.

Nutrition
M1 2 egg whites and spinach
M2 sliced lean ham and grapefruit juice
M3 lean ham and pineapple
M4 nutrition shake
M5 small salad with veggies, one egg white and a string cheese.
M6 nutrition shake

Best of luck to both of you!!! And thank you so much for joining me on this journey!!!

Thank you to EVERYONE who has joined, too! I just noticed that our group is bigger and that some of you are just quiet! LOL! I am looking forward to getting to know all of you better here and would like to be of any help that I can be. If you need anything at all just let me know! I hope everyone is getting off to a grand start! Please bear with me... this is my first attempt at a group but I want to make this the best group it can be. If anyone has ideas, ect. feel free to post or message me. I want this to be the kind of group you all want and what you need to help you reach your goals... and keep setting new ones!

Looking good! I really wanted to do nothing today and eat whatever I wanted, but somehow I stuck with it this morning and am better now! LOL! I was still sore from the workout since I'm not used to that. Does that go away after awhile? Just curious. I never actually stuck with it long enough before to find out. I figure when it doesn't hurt then you just have to add more weights or reps or something but I am hoping at some point it gets better. Anyway, I guess I will find out this time!!!

I finally forced myself to do 30 minutes of cardio and I feel a lot better now. And I knew I should have just done it earlier and probably would have felt a lot better THEN! Anyway, meals were good

M1 nutrition shake
m2 applesauce and string cheese
m3 EFL chocolate peanut butter oatmeal (yum!) (one of my favorites!)
m4 whole wheat cereal and milk
m5 peanut butter on whole wheat bread and salad
m6 protein bar

REALLY looking forward to getting some shopping done so I can start fixing some of my favorite healthy recipes. I think that's part of why I didn't want to stick to my "plan" today. Better planning would lead to stuff I would really rather eat! I will get to the store tomorrow for sure!

Hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow!

Hey Carrie...The soreness never goes away but it does get better. Those first few weeks are the most painful. After your brain starts to see a correlation between the muscle soreness and the satisfaction of progress....you'll start to like the pain
