The one thing that you hope your Transformation accomplishes for others in your life
A simple answer or very deep if you think about it for a while.
What is the one thing that you hope your Transformation will accomplish for those involved in your life. |

Hey Shane -
I am hoping that my transformation will motivate my wife to stop doing BFL "when she wants" and realize how she can take a giant step to changing her life in 12 weeks. I am also hoping to motivate others to jump on the bandwagon. I have converted a couple folks, and hopefully more will follow as I continue to grow. Mike |

Hi Shane, great question. I am hoping to inspire my daughter and a few of my co-workers in having the courage to make their goals and surpass them.
Hi Mike, I agree women and I am one of them tend to say we are doing the program when we really are not kind of that half hearted thing. I hope all women out there believe in themselves and really push them selves to be the best they can be. Julia |

I'm hoping to inspire anyone I know. I was talking to my friend today actually about the transformation and he said he was getting inspired just listening to me talk about it. He could sense how passionate I am about this.

I'm hoping that my transformation inspires others who have 100+ lbs to lose that it CAN be done without pills, without surgery... that the crummy emotional eating habits and "good all day" binge from dinner to bed habits CAN be conquered.
The success of my first challenge inspired 2 folks, they are about a month into their first challenge and are both reaping the benefits of increased energy, the lack of the 2-3 pm crash n burn, increased stamina etc. Hopefully, as I complete subsequent challenges it continues to inspire others that have 100lbs or more to lose. |

I just hope that I can be an example. I was thrilled today when my friend told me she just bought EFL book and planned a week's worth of meals. Also my SIL just joined a gym which makes me really happy and I'll go work out with her sometimes. I hope my transformation will make me a better wife and mom. I feel like I already am a good wife and mom but I hope I can be even better. I feel there is always room for improvement in all areas of my life.

I want to be an example to them, so they will be inspired by what I've done and make a transformation themselves. Allowing them to feel more confident, energetic, healthier and have a feeling of being the best version of themselves they can be! Bob

I am interested in capturing everyone I meet, not just the people in my life, but the people that are yet to be in my life. I want to reach out to them to help give them the self assurance they deserve

I hope to inspire everyone - The Body for Life program had not been introduced into the world until after my surgery. I would like to help people avoid surgery and see that they can be heathy and fit. There is a better way!!! Other than surgical complication there are long erm healthy complication from vitamin malabsorption.

Kathy I cannot tell you how many times I wondered if surgery was the only way for me... something inside always said no but in despair of the situation alot of times we only want relief from our pain...

I was very fortunate to have a very competanct surgeon and have had not surgery complications but I am only 46 and already have osteopenia - Precursor to osteoperosis.
Fat does equal pain. The depth of my depression was immense. Frequently when I see people that are extremely obese I feel a lot of them have low self-esteem. They have given up. The problems appears to be too immense. These people need to break down tier golas into smaller chunks but it is har to do that if you are an all or nothing type of person like me. My sister's in-laws have a big issue with diabetes in thier family but few of them take care of themselves. It amazes me that I don't have kids but my hubby and I take better care of ourselves that members of our family that have a generation to raise. Well I don't have human kids - I have 4-legged kids. |

I hope that my transformation will inspire my children to eat right and exercise their whole life. I know how hard it is to get "back in shape". I want my children to stay in good health and not fight the battle. I want to inspire some of my friends who have a weight problem and who are constantly struggling with "diets". I want them to know the BFL way and know that it works.

What is the one thing that you hope your Transformation will accomplish for those involved in your life....
Sophie has learned so much about foods. The word fat is not word used in my house, ever. She is a healthy lil eater. She loves shakes, and cottage cheese. Her favorite breakfast is Muscle Milk Pancakes. She thinks Balance Bars are candy. She is almost 7 and has never tasted a coke, drp, or any carbonated beverage for that matter. She loves green tea. Her favorite treat is peanut butter. (Mine too! Lord, I could eat a jar) When I see this, it makes me proud............I have never denied her ice cream or that stuff, but her choices are her own. She was in Montessori School until she was 5, and they are huge advocates of organic eating, gardening, and nothing refined. She went to school, where the treats were cucumbers, tomatoes, and hard boiled eggs. She has asked me why do I go to the gym everyday? I always tell her, so my ticker can be stronger to give her more love. By being in the gym everyday and eating healthy, I really feel I am setting a good example for her. You would not believe how many parents look at me like I am nuts when I say Sophie has never had a Coke or can drink...........................I don't buy em, because I don't drink em! So she has no clue of what she is "missing." I am sure the day will come when she is curious, but until then, so be it! ![]() |

Jacqui! I love what you have to say, it is so so powerful. I wished I could have been there more for my brother. You have no idea. |
