I'm starting my questions today for round 1 and will be a little below productive on the site because I desire to put heartfelt concentration forth in answering each question wholeheartedly. I'm still here fighting the good fight of faith Coach (smile)

Mine was mailed about three weeks ago. I set aside a whole weekend to work on it.
Since my before and after pictures were certainly no motivation for me to get the packet done and mailed, these are the things that did help me to stick with it and get the job done: 1: I decided to answer the questions like a travelog- sort of a story of my transformation journey since joining T.com. This made it fun and helped me stick with it. I focused on the story and not on my pictures. 2. I referred back to my old blogs and discovered things I had forgotten that helped me remember why I had stuck it out for the whole 18 weeks. 3. I did not send in my packet the first challenge and I was REALLY SORRY I hadn't. I had made a commitment to myself when I started that challenge to finish it and I didn't and that bothered me more than my stinkin' pictures! Honor yourselves and do the packet. If you're disappointed by your results, it will help you do better in Round 2. I sure hope my failures and screw-ups help someone else feel better about themselves by completing their packets. If anyone is still on the fence about this, email me and I'll be happy to talk you through it! Blessings, Jackie

I DID IT!!! I finished writing mine out. Now to make sure my pictures are in order and it should be in the mail by Thursday at the latest! Thanks for the constant reminders.
You know, I feel a LOT better about Round One now after reflecting on it. I did accomplish a lot for myself. I came out better than I went in and that is the goal, right? But, just a warning.... this round is going to blow my round one right out of the water!!! ![]()

I'd say, 1. giving yourself plenty of quiet time to think and answer and 2. not checking to see how many pages everyone else did, just take as many pages as YOU need.

I mailed my packet and it was such a wonderful feeling. Just the since of completion and meeting my goal to do it was awesome.
I tried to focus on one question at a time so I did not get overwhelmed with all the questions. I went back and re-read my blogs from the beginning so I had a fresh reminder of where I came from (although that is difficult to forget. I also really tried to speak from the heart. One thing I did not do was go back and re-read my answers and re-think the questions. I felt like then I started over analyzing and making to more complicated. It is just such a good feeling to complete it and mine was nothing fancy either-just simple answers to the questions. :-) |

I finally got mine in the mail yesterday morning! You know, it's not over 'til it's over...and I had heard Coach say that finishing the challenge is not finished until the packet is mailed in! I had been working on it for a month off and on. I had started Round 2 by then, not knowing it would take me so long and that made it harder to focus, but...
What was my original goal? Like many, TO FINISH THE CHALLENGE DOING ALL THE WORK! I had to tame down my other T.com activities, no matter how important they were to FINISH MY GOAL...KEEP MY PROMISE - TO MYSELF, COACH, and come on now...TO BILL! Just do it for Bill! I don't even know him, but he has given us such an opportunity, so much of his time, knowledge, creativity, dedication...and for FREE?! What do we have to do? Eat, train, do the assignments and send in the packet! My packet wasn't the best. It was conversational, as suggested. I pretended that I was sitting in a lobby somewhere with Coach and Bill and they were asking me the questions and I was just telling them how it went for me. I kept the document up on my computer and worked on it off and on as parts of the answers came to me. Some came quick, some just sloshed around in the back of my mind for a while before I figured it all out. I had heard Debby (creatingoodness) say once that doing the packet was the best way to really understand what the Challenge has done for a person. SO! 1. DO IT AS A THANK YOU TO BILL! 2. DO IT AS A THANK YOU TO COACH! 3. DO IT AS A THANK YOU TO YOURSELF! |

I almost didn't submit my packet, as I thought my results were to lackluster. Then I realized that I had comitted to the challenge and finished it. I HAD seen slight physicl results but had also mentaly and emotionaly realized alot of things about myself that have helped me start this next challenge.
I wanted that level 11 Transformer next to my name. I didn't want to be someone that did a challenge and then just disapeared. I wanted to continue the process and in order to continue for maximum results over time, I needed to submit my packet.

Mine is in and I have received a confirmation from Leigh letting me know they got it.
I knew I wanted to get the story done, though I still am not sure I did it quite right. I got all the items that were to be discussed, put in a word document. I wrote my story and then went back to make certain I covered all the listed items. I hope I got them all. I had a goal of having the essay done by 2 weeks after the end of my challenge and I did get it done in that time. I purchased a large manila envelope during the middle of my 1st challenge and addressed it. These things definitely helped assure that I would get the packet sent! Now, on to T2!

I have had several people tell me one of the following about why they were not sending in a packet::
"I didn't have good enough or any physical change". "I'm still way too big, I'd never win this time." "The winners have already been picked, it's obvious who they are" "I haven't been active enough on the site, I'm not popular". Well these have been my responses: "Many did much better then me in their physical transformations when I was chosen. I worked on the mindset and made huge changes in my life and the life of my family. The fact that I am alive today has everything to do with Transformation and what it helped me to overcome. If you think this is determined on a physical level only, you are mistaken and missing the purpose of Transformation. Sending in a packet does something great for YOU, it shows that you honored a self promise!! That is huge and will help you tremendously in your next round." "It isn't just about winning. It's about completeing something that you started. It proves to yourself that you are capable of fininshing something that you started. It's about sending in that packet and then celebrating the PROGRESS that you've made. It really does just keep getting better" "Bill told us last year that there were going to be 3 Champions chosen. Everyone thought they knew who they were then. Then Bill did what Bill does, he surprised us all with more excitement and added in two more champions. Just like his very first BFL Challenge, there was supposed to be one winner of a Lamborgini and instead he made it 10 winners of 10 Corvettes. If I had gone by that way of thinking last year, I would not have sent in my packet and I can't believe the blessings I would have missed out on. Bill is always full of surprises, so don't assume anything". "Chris Winters was not very well known when he was chosen. I think he had about 30 posts under his name when he won. It isn't a popularity contest here. It's about the Transformation." Please, do yourself a huge favor and turn in your packets. Really, if for nothing else, for yourself. It is an amazing feeling of accomplishment!! If at all possible, make the plans for Denver and redeem the Golden Tickets you will receive for finishing your challenge. That in itself is going to be an incredible experience you are not going to want to miss!

Aaaaah, it is done. Mailed it off yesterday and feel so free, so free....
What helped me in completing it and putting it in the mail: 1. Letting go of perfectionism. Not expecting the process or the end result to be perfect. 2. Believing that I have a story to share. 3. Making it my own, putting my mark on it, making it personal. I'm sure I'm not the first one to do this, but I made a scrapbook for Bill with my story and some pictures and while it's not perfect it is SO me You might not want to do that, so find what expresses your story best, maybe a video clip, or just words, or a picture album, or a combo of all. Put yourself in your packet ![]() Juliane |

I sent my packet off last week. I got about half way through the questions and was starting to feel overwhelmed by it, so I set it aside for a few days. I'd come back to it, write a little more, put it down, then I realized it was perfectionism sneaking up on me again. So I got it out, tried my best and wrote it up.
The things that motivated me to send it in were; 1) That it was a promise that I kept to myself, 2) That I get a Golden Ticket!, and 3) I get to tell Bill thank you in my packet, knowing that he will read it. (that part choked me up). Robin |

TWO THINGS....
I put in my earplugs and typed only what I heard that was clear and rang true to my heart.... I made my package a gift - a gift to Bill, a gift to the transformation team, a gift to my daughter and a gift to myself. I wanted to always remember the gift of Transformation and all the amazing things I learned here.... Love, Debby |

I will be sending mine in this Saturday. Sunday is officially the last day of my Round 1 challenge, but it is also my Free Day, so I want to get it out ASAP!
Things that helped me: Writing from the heart, not being too preoccupied with trying to sound any certain way. Remembering this is progress, not a graduation. I still get preoccupied with this, and am still working it out. Staying accountable with fellow Transformers. This is so helpful for a reminder and a confidence booster! This has been a memorable, powerful journey and I am so excited to jump into Round 2. I feel more qualified to help others now that I have finished my first 18 weeks. |

I just rec'd my acknowledgement email from Leigh that the packet is in!!!
For me - the top 3 things that helped: 1 - The support of my Accountability Group and T.com friends 2 - Going through the process of answering the questions and re-reading my answers and really acknowledging the levels of progress that I have achieved over the challenge duration. 3 - Reflecting on my commitment - to myself, to Bill and the t.com community. How can I/We be the change if not following through the final step regardless of results and comparisons!

YYYYippee!! the writing is done! I'll spiff it up a bit and send it off this weekend!
3 things helping me get focussed and complete the packet! 1. Save comments from this round for next essay!! 2. Speak from the heart! Awesome friends are going to be reading it! Besides, the writing flows so much quicker and smoother when its from the heart! 3. Inhale!! - let the blessings from the experience expand your heart and energize you for the next round!! love you all! MaryPat |
