Awesome, Coach!!!

For me, the things that helped was really savoring the time I spent on it, answering from my heart and realizing the truth in what is stated in the blue graphic above! I looked forward to it, even though I didn't know if I could really find words to convey everything. It took a lot of faith just getting things on paper.

This is the journey of our life...we get to document amazing things!!!

Don't try to find "the right answer"...there is no such thing...there is YOUR answer!

Don't worry about making it into a novel...some questions only require a few sentences.

I went through the all the questions, writing down my first thoughts, then moved on to the next. Then went back and back again as things came to me. It's not a test, so that worked out really well.

Just let the words flow. I did a lot of editing because I had repeated myself...there are only soooo many times you can use the word AMAZING, but I probably pushed that envelope. lol

This packet is a gift for you to treasure...don't look at it as a piece to be graded, it's really for you. Sending it in just a beautiful part of the transformation package!
I'm going to treasure mine forever!!! (The transformation challenge and the packet!)

Coach. . I did mail in my packet on June 19th. I was so relieved to send it off. . it meant that i really. ..REALLY finished. . it didnt matter in my mind that i went through the 18 weeks and did the 18 assignments. . when i know my main thing to work is follow through. . knowing that it aint over till the questions are answered and the packet is in the mail.

The 3 things that helped me the most to get it together and send it in (once i stopped the procrastination and doubt)

1. Accountability--Announcing to friends in the community that i had not sent it in and how i felt about the challenge not being complete until i do send it in. . . (i dont think you get that lvl 2 label until you send it in. so people will know if i do or not)

2. The assignments--Answering the questions were easier than i expected because i blogged and posted my progress with each assignment. it was easy to log on and see some very important changing points along the way and refer back to them as needed.

3. Remember its Your STORY. Dont try to compare your story to anyone elses. . . just write what comes to mind .. dont try to make it perfect. just get it done.

I completed and mailed in my packet, and I've even gotten e-mail confirmation that it was received. I just wrote my story from my heart, trying the best I could to answer most of the questions that Bill posed in the guidelines. My efforts in Round 1 were not worthy of the title of Transformation Champion, so I did not feel the pressure of trying to put together a winning packet. My motivation was more about keeping a promise to myself to complete the 18 weeks, and submitting my packet was just the final part of keeping that promise. Of course, getting those golden tickets will be a prize in itself!! I'm praying for a more focused Round 2 with greater success.

I wasn't going to submit, but I feel I owe it to myself to do so. I have started round 2, had a ROUGH week last week, but am on fire again with the help of none other than T.COM!!!!!

My motivation was the acceptance of the fact that NO ONE EXPECTS ME TO BE PERFECT, and just because it was a less than desirable, doesn't mean I didn't learn from it.........in fact, I LEARNED HUGE!!!.....

What motivated me to complete my packet and mail it in was to experience a sense of completion in that leg of my journey or chapter in my life, to acknowledge positive changes even though it was not really in pounds, and to somehow release a part of myself into the universe to be accepted and honored.
Probably sounds kind of goofy, but that is what it was like for me,

Three things that helped my the most in preparing my packet and mailing it in:

1) Denise T., as part of her accountability group, I did not want to let her down. No matter what, I wanted to finish this.

2) The "golden tickets". Ok this is a selfish one but honestly it is an additional reason that I sent my packet in. I was tired of being left behind, Coach. I wanted to be a part of this incredible event!

3) As I started answering the questions, I suddenly (like something hit me up side the head) realized that this entire process isn't about winning anything or receiving a title. As I mailed my packet off, I was so proud of myself for completed it, that nothing else mattered. I did it!

So if you are still not convinced that you should send your packet in, please, just do it. I promise you that if you do you will feel a sense of accomplishment that you may not otherwise experience. Even if you don't "feel" like you did well, you DID! You did SOMETHING, right? Send it in........I did and I can't explain to you how PROUD I am with myself that I DID IT!!!!! Be proud of your accomplishment and SHOW Bill how proud you are as I am sure he is proud of each one of you!

When we went to San Angelo to surprise Reaper - Joan, Amanda and I made a pact we were getting our packets done by Friday! I am typing as fast as I can. SO much to say - SO much to mull over - And those tears keep popping out LOL!
This packet is important to keep me on track to my goals! I promised I would not let you (or myself) down this time Coach!

1) My blogs are one of the biggest things that are helping me
2) As I got close to the end of the challenge and finished up my certification test I jotted down notes of things I wanted to remember.
3) Re-listening to radio broadcasts are also helpful.

There were three things that helped me tremendously.

1. My transformation became about my family. I had a picture of them on my desktop and I looked at them every time I wrote my paper. I pretended like I was talking to coach stoney and my Pop. Letting them know of the things I accomplished for my family. What were the highlights in my transformation. What would you be excited to tell them.

2. I worked on my paper after I completed a strong, powerful workout. My mind, energy, and body felt so clear and I felt like I could write better after I completed a workout. I always work on or review an assignment after I workout. Just seems to help me dig deeper to the subconscious and really speak from my heart.

3. Listening to the radio shows too was very helpful. They are packed so full of information. I sat with a pen and paper and jotted notes down. I listened to what coach and Mr. Phillips had to say about the paper and what the be the change question was referring to.

This is awesome coach. This is not a competition, this is a life change. You have the ability to discover a new life. A life you might never knew existed for you. A life that is worth living for. Write that paper. It will be the best thing you can do for yourself. Great job to everyone who has finished. It is quite an accomplishment.

Great post...Shershey.....thanks for all of the tips...I especially love that you kept a picture of your family on your desk and made the transformation about them....once you decide to do it for yourself first...it is awesome to take the focus off of self and do it for someone else....then you just get energized and forget that you are doing it for yourself....to make your life better....so that everyone around you can enjoy a better life.

1) Being accountable has help me in many ways, I felt I needed to be held accountable to everyone here. And will continue to do so........
2) It was fun. =)
3) God gave me the strength to keep moving forward in all that I do.

I plan on mailing mine tomorrow....The thing that I did not do was set a specific date to have it done! It has lingered and lingered and I encourage you to have a date...I had one last year when I was done and I encourage you to set a date!

Complete this challenge, by completing your story before you start the next one!

Thanks Coach!!!

My packet is either in a FedEx truck on its way to California, or has already arrived (I need to check on that, I suppose).

What helped me most was reviewing my blogs and assignments (everything I had to say was already in there, it was just a matter of gathering it all together). In addition was the determination that I wasn't really finished until I handed that envelope over to be shipped. Then there's the promise I made when I found out I was going to Denver, that I'd finish and get my "golden ticket". Oh, and it would be a shame to not credit my mom and her awesome proof-reading efforts!

Thanks, Coach. Ya'll will be getting another story from me in early October!

1. I completed my packet. I would focus on two questions at a time on my days off. If I thought that I could do more I would. In the mornings before work. I would work on one question.
2. I reviewed my assignments to get look at the journey.
3. I talked to my boyfriend or a close friend about the questions and would bounce ideas off of him.

Good luck everyone. I am looking forward to my Golden Ticket and seeing the new champions in Denver!!! WhoHoo!!!

Hi everyone! Yes I am done and will be mailing it as soon as I proof read the story I am submitting.
I can't post the three things in getting in the mail yet, so I will post three things in getting it done.

1. Being with all the great people in Mellie's group and agreeing that we would all send in our packets (accountability)
2. Keeping the word "finishing" in my mind. The long part of the process is the 18 weeks we devoted to transformation and completing it. I believe I owe it to myself and to transformation to complete the entire process, not just complete the physical part of the transformation.
3. Setting an example for my niece (Josie) and my sister(Sugar_Plum) that follow through is the most
important part of this program. I got them to transformation and it kept me on track so I could help keep them inspired to keep going keep going keep going, what kind of person would I be if at the end, I didn't follow through.

So I guess:

1. Commit to other people that I will do it because I'm in it with them (Mellie's group)
2. I owe it to myself to complete what I start
3. Walk the walk if I'm going to talk the talk, we can't inspire anyone if we don't inspire ourselves

and number 4

Coach constantly sending me little reminders that put me back on the "T" site when I think I'm too busy.
I love the participation links. They're quick, easy, and keep my mind in the game.

OMGosh!: I DIDN'T ADD THIS ABOVE, BUT THE GOLDEN TICKET WAS A HUGE DRIVING FORCE. I GET TO GO, I GET TO GO! OTHERWISE, I WOULD SO MISS OUT ON EVERYTHING!

I am completing my this evening. All I have to do is put it in the envelope and in the mail I spent all weekend working on it. The thing I found most rewarding about completing the packet was the opportunity to review the last 18 weeks of my life. From where I began to where I am today. It made me realize how far I have come with not only my body with especially my soul. I am a new positive being more than ever willing to help others. Thanks Coach for starting this thread. Maybe others who were not going to send in their packets will read some of these posts and decide to send them in.
