MzBriggs, You have inspired me to bring my BFL book on my ski trip. I need to read it again too.

I'm going to add a bit to one thing Dude mentioned. Start a blog, but take that a step further. Make a point to talk to people and offer help and support. You may think that you have nothing to offer others because you are just starting. That's not true. Your words and thoughts contain information and insight unique to you. That uniqueness is going to hit another person just right. They will relate to what you say, find an answer they need, and take their next step.

So make a point to reach out and offer help. Even if it's just kind words to start with. You will be amazed at how fast you start to grow when you are helping others find their way.

And Dude, you are looking AWESOME my man.

GREAT GREAT GREAT post and advice... I was starting to panic, not knowing what to do... just like you said, but your post calmed me down a bit. I'm starting my first Transformation Challenge on Jan 5th and am using this time to READ, read and more reading on this site. I snooped through your profile and watched your videos - of course, I can't get through anyone's videos without getting emotional, probably because all of you who have 'transformed' already, even to some degree, all started where I am right now.

I am contemplating that first exercise with the pictures and I do think it will be a while before I post them but as difficult as it will be to strip down and get in front of a camera (YUCK), I guess I'll be doing it. I do see it as the most important part of this journey. But I'm not looking forward to seeing it!

Again, loved this post... .will probably read a few more times before Jan 5th, 2009.

Janice ~ You are among humble company here as most of us have that ooey gooey before picture. We know it's difficult, yet so necessary to get a full view of where we really are. Mirrors and pictures depict different images for some reason! Once you leap that hurdle I bet you'll find the anxiety building up to it was much more of a struggle than it needed to be. We're all here for you!!!!

Elizabeth...if you go to Bill's blog, and look under 2009 Challenge Rules and Regulations you will find thunbnail links to the assignments!

Janice...Sharen is so right...That pic will be a hurdle and step in itself!!! It feels uncomfortable, but just think about how much more comfortable you are going to get in your beautiful skin in the upcoming weeks!!! Comparing photos...even if you decide not to put them online...will be a valuable tool for you!

Dude! Thank you for the post! You totally ROCK!
