Are any of you planning to go to this event? It sounds really cool. At first I thought you had to be a champion or something to go, but then I read the FAQ on thier site. You can find the link and all the info if you click on events in the main menu bar. I think I could learn a lot at this event....and Bill is speaking!!

This is a VERY unique group. I would definitely recommend going, #1, to "feel" what goes on there(rumor has it that Jesus was there last year or something), and #2, to endlessly tease the Ultimate Dork Fighting Champion, Stephanie Workman.

this will be my 3rd Tn weekend! My 8th BFL event and I try not to miss any. They are for any one, and yes, you will gain alot of inspiration and encouragement from this weekend plus have loads of fun, meeting everyone and making friends for Life. I Highly recommend this event!

Perhaps I should get a second job so I can attend all the events so I can meet all of you guys!

Pay no nevermind to Humdinger...he's just jealous. Seriously..he was just kidding and we tease each other endlessly.

As the organizer of this event I encourage EVERYONE to attend. As you said, this is an event where we encourage, inspire, and motivate folks to live a healthy life. You will meet many new friends and be sooo glad that you attended this event.

We're so very honored that Bill has agreed to speak at our event on Sunday this year!! You defiantely don't want to miss this chance to see him and meet him.

I plan on going!!! I went last year and it was a blast! You can run the race for the cure 5K too if you want to!!!!! So much fun and Stephanie and the TN team are jewels---kept everyone updated by email with contact #'s and even a ride from the airport!

I was under the impression it was for the champions, also. I just live an hour from Knoxville, so I would love to go!!! Thanks for clarifying!!

I am so glad to know it's foreveryone and not just those who have already met their fitness goals. I'll probably only be down 30-40 pounds by then, but what a great way to get a motivational boost to keep me going. My husband and I will definately be going!

ooh ooh! I really want to go to this too! I hope my hubby and I can make it a weekend away kinda thing.

It is a fabulous event!! Please plan to attend if at all possible. You will be blessed and inspired. Stephanie does a fantastic job of getting it all organized.

Thanks Marie and Linda for posting your comments about our weekend. We truely try to give everyone a life-changing experience when they attend our event. We try to focus on social time as well as doing healthy lifestyle type events as a group. It's always good fun! And this year having Bill...its just my dream coming true right there....I can hardly wait.

I truely hope many of you decide to come! The tickets are selling pretty fast so don't wait

Sounds like a really neat event. I wish I could go. Is it always in TN or do they go elsewhere other years? I'm too far away to attend this one and it seems as though BFL events NEVER come to my neck of the woods. Hope you go and if so, let us all know what you think.

This particular event is always in Knoxville TN and always the 2nd or 3rd weekend in October. We have many people that come from way far away..international even...to attend our event. I hope you'll try to find a way to come.

There are other events...actually there was just an event like ours in Kansas at the end of June. You have to stay tuned to the BFL website community/events pages to see the latest list of events.

OK, we signed up and will make the trip!! I am so excited! I might even do the 5K! (I NEVER would have said anything like that a few weeks ago!)
