Hello everyone! I don't know if you have noticed but I have been gone. I have been away to St. Gertrudes monastery for a retreat. I didn't know that nuns could be so cool! One of the sisters that taught us could of been 80 or 90. She taught us Ti Chi, creative writing, the crossover dance and so many other things. We sat around in a sharing circle. There were 20 of us and one thing that they did before we started anything was we held hands and we had to look at each other. It really is amazing when you take the time to stop and really look at someone that within 3 days you feel like you are a family. I asked one of the nuns if any of the other nuns ever got on her nerves and without skipping a beat she said "she had her hemhroids too". This retreat has made me feel so connected that when I walked in my store yesterday and saw part of the ceiling down from water leaking that it didn't upset me. Wow! Have I come a long ways.

I am back in the gym working out. I hiked while I was on my retreat. I am just going to keep showing up every day and taking care of myself. I just want to say that I am grateful that Henry Stinson, Creatinggoodness' husband, is showing his art in my store for an art walk that we are having this weekend and he has painted a picture of a shoe that is being sold with the proceeds going to Domestic Violence. Please, all of you, give a prayer out for all of this and MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!
