Me too! I'm in!!! Funny Eric, somehow this was meant to be. I know I need to put myself on a transition challenge, regardless of an existing group Transformation Challenge. I was away with a girlfriend last weekend, and unable to find my "clean self" this week. So, I decided to start tomorrow. On my own. Then today, because of the hurricane, I had time to catchup reading all the posts in your group, and at the very end, I see your message about your Transformation Challenge, starting TOMORROW! I feel like I'm dreaming! THANK YOU for reading my mind!!
Tons of love, Lynda |

Just a quick note. Steve and I just spent an hour on the back patio enjoying the gorgeous weather and looking through the EFL book to plan our first week of meals! I am so pumped that he is doing this with me! Tomorrow is the beginning of something wonderful!

Good morning everyone! I am so excited about this new Challenge! I am here, ready and exited! I am so grateful for the Transformation community and the wonderful trainers that God has put in my life. Today I will rest and take care of my back and I will be making the third scrapbook for one of my WSU basketball players. Because of this young woman I did a scrapbook for my first competition with Transformation. I will drink my shakes today, rest and enjoy scrapbooking.

Deb & Eric's New 18-Week Challenge, Week 1, Day 1
Monday: New Beginnings! ![]() Mission Statement Now I am sure of my purpose. I am to do the next right thing and to keep doing it, one thing at a time. I am to be still and listen, every morning and every night, so that I will always know what that one next right thing is. -Assignment 5 Meditation AM 47 mins. √d PM 15 mins. √s Nutrition Meals 1. 2oz. munster, 1/2 cup blueberries √d 2. 1/2 cup greek yogurt dip, raw veggies √d 3. 1 slice bbq tofu on whole wheat pizza w/rosemary and onions √d 4. 1 cup Viv's veggie bake #3 again √d 5. 1 Black bean no-sugar "brownie" √d 6. Green Protein Shake (if FedExp gets here) or #5 again √d Water 7. 1x16oz √d Supplements 8. 1000mg Frozen Fish Oil √d 9. 1 Multi Exercise 1. 5/25 UBW √d - amazing workout; felt so great after; did the sets a bit slower and got that wonderful "muscle-shaking" fatigued feeling by the 5th set for every exercise 2. Ab/Back √d 3. Yoga √d 4. Walk outside w/family 5m X (knee too swollen; it would have been counter-productive) Soul Voltage 1. Spend 30+ minutes outside X 2. Check in with teams √d 3. Plan Eowyn Kick-off X 4. 1+ community connection √d Healthy Spaces 1. 1-10m interval cleaning√d 2. Cooking √d 3. Dishes X Pushing Comfort Zones 1. Just for today: GMC 5+/m X 2. Just for today: Phone 5+/m X PNP (for Saturday and Sunday) 3 things well 1. Walked outside for 20+ minutes w/family and kept up with them! 2. Went shopping for another 1 hour+ 3. Had zero cravings for anything "free" on Free Day except juice (no added sugar) and seltzer and my RF version of artichoke spinach dip. Feel so much better today than last Monday 1 thing better 1. Even on Free Day, I need to drink plenty of water Gratitudes Grateful my sore throat is gone and that is the end of it. Grateful Irene only glanced by us. Grateful my parents and cousins are all okay. Grateful for new beginnings; for Deb and Eric's team; for the hard work Deb and Eric do to keep our team going especially the hours they spend on the conference calls. Grateful for Joe's Warriors of Light; for my beautiful Eowyn Walkers; my kids, family friends, moonlight, Morgan Freeman's Through the Wormhole show and so much more. Each and every assignment in Transformation. I just finished Assignment 9, "Taking Responsibility" and it convicted me deeply. I really needed an attitude adjustment and I was so glad to get it. The Next Lesson It was wonderful being able to do the nearly 2-hour walk on Saturday and the scampering we did to cook all meals ahead of time in case we lost power. But Sunday when I woke up I could hardly move my leg. Luckily I'd just done Assignment 9 and took full responsibility and called the doc. Today my leg is still swollen but I'm using R.I.C.E. (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation). The great thing about this is, this kind of swelling used to happen after just 10 minutes of walking. Since the gradual increases during the SSC, it only happens after pushing really hard for nearly two hours. That makes me feel like dancing. I'll wait though. =) ![]() Last edited by MickyO : 08-30-2011 at 09:02 AM. Reason: final update |

Eric and Debby THANK YOU for a chance at a new beginning! I absolutely love the poster you put up. It's just lovely!
Welcome Mike! It's so great to see you here. I love what you wrote, 'I thrive when I have an accountability group.' Me too! Good morning dear Cliff. *hugs* Love your quote and post as usual! I had to look up every single item on your alliteration list -- except Maui of course. ♥ Quote:
Lisa I love EFL and use it as the base of most of my (now) meatless meals. The spice combinations are beautifully balanced and delicious. So cool about Steve joining us too! Joel I love how you put that: 'I am ready to write the next chapter of my life and my family's life..." It really is so true. What we do in this moment is writing our future not just for us but for the people we love the most. I also wanted to tell you that I have been reading your blogs and am just blown away by your willingness to do the deep soul work and for the miraculous changes you've achieved. You are a true Soul Warrior. Eric your meals look delicious! Wow those shakes are green enough to do an Irishman (or woman hehe) proud. Thank you for helming this new challenging. I'm so grateful for your hard work and huge, beautiful heart. *hugs* Melanie you look just gorgeous. Scrapbooking! That's an art I've had on my "to be learned some day" list. I hope you share your Transformation Journey scrapbook. Debby thank you for the email directing me here. I'm so grateful for your hard work and dedication to our team. *hugs all around* Let's rock this challenge! Last edited by MickyO : 08-29-2011 at 08:23 AM. Reason: to edit stuff |

Eric and Debby,
Jorge and I have been through a lot this past year with relocating and reinventing our lives. Unfortunately, haven't seen a gym in about 6 months and eating/drinking habits have slipped. I am hopeful to turn things around again in the next 18 weeks. Thanks for the invite!!! ![]() Hugs, Sandy |
