Good morning Masteries!!
After four days on the road, I am happy to be home. Incredibly, I did not gain weight while traveling and I did manage to eat most of the time on plan. I am so happy to be living a healthy lifestyle because I did not succumb to hotel breakfasts, sweets, and other unhealthy foods. I managed to exercise every day, even while on the road. Hope you all have a great day. Christine |

Hanna choosing to feel good and exhilarated is an awesome choice!
Christine Yeah you are home! Hotel stairs make a wonderful exercise. I have even been known to do one legged lunges and tricep dips and step ups on the hotel coffee table LOL! Enjoy your day today! Well today my son is scootering to school so it is more work for me to keep up with him. He is only 8 so he isn't old enough to go by himself. Fun memories for sure! I am coming home after a walk and doing Chest and back. I am doing a 3 day split right now. Eating is on track! Michele |

Good afternoon, all.
I hope everyone is doing well. I have been MIA as of late. I am so swamped at work. My Cardio and weight lifting have been going really well. I go to the gym 5 days a week and exercise outside the other days. I am now 12 pounds lighter since the time I started the challenge. I can notice change in my body now. I am so happy to be healthy to do all this. I now feel even healthier each week. M1: egg whites M2: Right Light Shake. M3: Grilled chicken and salad M4: Right Light Shake. M5: Salmon Asparagus and salad M6: Greek yogurt or Right Light Shake. I am keeping the carbs very low today to mix things up. I usually have it with every meal. I am also drinking a gallon of water a day. All my best, Elliot

Hi, there, Masteries!
Boy, am I ever behind on the MAINSTREAM. I've spent nearly every day of the past week out doors and completely away from internet and cell service. My "workouts" have not been structured, but I have sure burned some calories! I've been rappelling, caving, canyoneering, and hiking in the snow. I'm literally battered and bruised right now, but lean and mean and taking a recovery day. Ironically, my morning has been spent working out logistics for more caving on Sunday. I'm going to take some time to try to catch up on posts and homework today; will stop by again with more when I can, but wanted to check in and let you all know I'm still here, and still going strong. Cheers! Chip.

Hey Guys!
Laurie-I'd be boasting too-hot mama!!! Elliot-Congrats on those 12 lbs-I know you feel great saying that. Good work!! Worked out this morning on my step machine & will be doing a run with my husband after work-probably 3-4 miles. Poor guy had knee/calf injuries on and off and then got a stomach bug during our longer run last Saturday. He even had to call in sick one night & I think it's been several years since he did that. So hoping he stays healthy for our 8k on 4/28 & half on 5/5/12. It's much better running with someone than by yourself in those longer races! Eating was 100% yesterday, not real great today-missed my 4th meal again & had some sunchips & some peanut m&ms that were at work. When will I learn?! Had a pretty good day at work. We have been going through a re-accreditation process this week and had our exit interview today & I received a lot of kudos and praise from the assessors (in front of my boss) so it was nice to have him hear it. He does appreciate my work, just nice to have someone outside of work say it too. OK-gotta "run". Kathy |

Buff..what an inspiration you are. Thanks for your messages.
Chip and Autumn, wishing you some comfort. Laurie.. wow.. good for you. I bet you look terrific in person. Maria and Chris thanks for the morning hellos. Sherry hope you are feeling better. I am eating well and doing my weights with Bill's 5 25s. I am remembering to keep a positive mindset when I start to dwell on the unknown in my family. Staying in the present moment is really helpful so as not to create fearful thoughts. Wishing everyone a good day. Marilyn |

Hi Folks,
This is a reality check. We all seek better versions of our selves. We strive in various ways to improve. We are mostly blessed. We are probably all in the wealthiest and privileged 1% of all people who ever lived. Just a few minutes ago my daughter called in tears. She does social work with a highly at-risk population. One of her clients, a young lady, former foster child, no family, HIV positive, was murdered here in Chicago. The deck was stacked against her and she lost it all. Never forget your blessings. Reetu... Congratulations on the milestone marker!!!
Team I have been evaluating and re-focusing a bit. For me, my workouts are the foundation of my success (or failure) and I have had such a good cycle for such a long time that I have been able to count on this for so long as a constant. To a degree, this has left me. I have been trying to change and tweak my workouts, specifically adding more weight/resistance workouts. I have not been as happy or not nearly as consistent lately. As such, I have decided to focus on functional workouts and cardio work. I have been advised by some that I really respect to do the opposite but right now, I feel that a more cardio / functional workout based program is what I need right now. This week, I started an "Insanity" challenge - 60 days of Insanity (the BeachBody workouts). In addition, I will be doing BodyPump 1-2 days a week and trainer-lead athletic training (i.e. boot-camp) once per week. I really feel that this is what I need right now and I am excited to get on with this new challenge. I am back to feeling better and eating on plan (tonight was an exception). I won't say I am out of my funk yet but I am pulling myself out of the abyss. Cheers DJ

HI Gang,
Great to see all my T.com peeps here today. Had a good day yesterday. Productive day at work yesterday and I had a lot of fun at Special Olympics last night. Made a easy but healthy new dinner with breaded white chicken, potatoes and corn medley that was great comfort food but also yummy as well. Today is running outside and a strength band class tonight. Have a super day friends! Chris |

Kathy,
Thanks for the kind words yesterday. I know about those temptations. Monday it was a cake from a principal leaving and I am a weak person when it comes to buttercream frosting. Yuck! Chris Quote:
