Good Morning team! Getting ready to go off to do my training run with my friends. They are doing their longest run for the half program. I am so excited to help two of my friends do their first 12 miler.

Today is busy with housework, working on some projects and maybe some writing. Mike is getting together with some friends today and tomorrow ( which he rarely does) so I am going to keep busy with some activities.

Good morning!

We are taking a ride to Madison today- heading to Half Priced Books to sell many of books that are collecting dust, buying more floor mats for the gym at Dick's, then to Whole foods and for a free meal at Old Chicago Pizza.
The original plan was to take my daughter out but her test is 5 hours long.

Love you ladies & your dedication to self.
Kids & I are off to a puppet show at the park. It's only 41 degrees today, burrr. 1/2 of yesterdays temp. CRAZY!
Oh, I posted my 4 week (started after you guys) photos. If you don't see change don't tell me, PLEASE! I do see a change & that will keep me going.

Laurie, I'm not sure you got the time thing done right. Did you save it?
You wrote the time was 8:30, but it showed up 10:30 here.
Kari, so happy you clarified.. Funny thing is, I thought of that this morning. That maybe it's your plan & I never caught it before. Great job on knowing your body!!!
Chris, time alone is more productive for me too. Get lot's done girl!!!
Maria, have a wonderful day!

Hello Mastery. I just got out of work and I plan to upload my 6week pictures and finish my 2 assignments. I so wanted them done by last Sunday but overtime was called and I had to be ready for everyone. This is my first time this week that I have had a chance to be on my computer and I have worked everyday. I was so busy on Friday that I missed the conference call. I don't even know if there was one since I did not read my emails. I knew this would happen but I can only move forward and let this next coming week not overwhelm me. I better get on things so I will let you go.

((HUGS)) TO YOU ALL!!!

Hey team

Well yesterday evening, I got congested, sore throat and bit of a cough. I thought that there was no way I was doing any workout today or even anything productive. I woke up congested, coughing and thought it would be a tough day but I bucked it up and pushed through my morning. About an hour after waking, I was feeling better.

We dropped the kids off at Grandma's to see their cousins who were in town and Michelle and I did some errands. It was a really nice day. We got a lot done before picking up my son. We went home and had about an hour before dinner at my in-laws.

I felt good enough to bang out my Insanity workout and felt pretty darn good by the end.

Dinner was good and we had a pretty good time. At the end of the night, both kids wanted to sleep over at grandma's and Grandma said it was OK. So, we are kidless for the night!!!

I am watching a little hockey and catching up here in the Masteries group. I am stoked that this cold did not hit me too hard and I had a great day.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and keep making progress your goal!

Cheers
DJ

Good Morning Team! Had a nice run yesterday. It was so cool to help two of my friends run their first 12 miler. Did not get as much done as I wanted yesterday but I found out spray painting cardboard with some colors is harder than it looks for my Angry Birds Display for school.

Today is a short run and then church. Mike ended up not going out with his friends so we did Panda Express. I am not going to even get on the scale even though I ate healthy with all that salt. It was neat though because I talked with the manager and the mission statement and the goals of the company were really cool and it inspired me to use it in my classroom. She was really nice and excited I was excited about it.

/

I want to teach my students and myself to be proactive in dealing with situations, have respect, be ready for growth, be an excellent learning environment and find ways of giving to others. I also want to better others lives by my presence. I love these goals and hope to do those in every area of my life.

Have a great day everyone!

Happy Sunday and Earth Day!

Chris, love the values from the panda! And it's nice that you andMikehad time together.

We donated an entire bookcase of books yesterday. What they can't sell they will recycle. Today, I will donate some books to my church.

Hoping to get on the trail for along walk/jog later today and more cleaning. After a wonderful free lunch today I am back to eating healthy foods. I might bar-b-q today and get set for the week. It promises to be busy.

Make it a great day and do something for the environment!

Morning all! Busy day yesterday-literally didn't relax until around 6pm. Got a nice run in on the trails near my house for Reetu's race (pictures are in the Esprit thread) and then ran my daughter to her 2 tennis lessons. I was really proud of her, she has been pushing herself in track with practice every night and then tennis on the weekends. She was a little emotional yesterday because she didn't think she did well in her group lesson and the coach offered to do a private lesson later that afternoon. At first she told me she was too tired and didn't think she wanted to, but then we talked about pushing ourselves and reaching our goals and the only way you get better is with practice, so she decided to do another lesson. The coach took me aside afterwards and said she is very talented and that she is only scratching the surface of her potential (she has had about a year experience). He couldn't say enough positive things, so it was nice to see that she sucked it up and just went in again and tried hard and did well. So happy to see competiveness & determination in her because she has so much potential!

Looks like we'll be having 3 of us with races next weekend. So I will make sure to remind everyone later this week, but if you can think of a way to push yourself physically or be a support to everyone doing an event next weekend-it would be much appreciated! I really love doing a little extra on my workouts for everyone & it really keeps me motivated.

Today is my free day from exercise & I plan to eat healthy all day!! And I am with you Sherri-a little chilling will be happening here as well

It's been a bit INSANE these past two weeks ...

... but INSANE has become my normal so all is well.

I trust all of you are driving consistently in the direction of your goals. Today marks the deadline for having the first 6 assignments, the Extended Mastery assignment and 6 week Results and Reflection (Photos and Stats) completed.

I had given some consideration to extending this deadline but decided not to advance the idea after all. There will be other opportunities for recognition within the group at the 12 and 18 week marks. You still have time to get everything wrapped up and posted today. I will give everyone until 10am tomorrow (Monday, April 23rd).

Conference Calls:

Due to an alteration in my work schedule, the weekly Conference Calls will have to be adjusted. I will no longer be available on Monday evenings, so the Step Assignment calls will resume on Friday, May 4th at 5pm Pacific Time. I apologize for the inconvenience. This may be better for some in the long run.

I know from personal experience how easy it is to fall into the complacency trap at this stage. Let's work to avoid that at all cost. Remember your self-promises. Honor those commitments above all else.

We are here for you and want to see you succeed.

Hello Friends!

Well, it's been another sad day for me. This morning our dear Associate Pastor (& friend) passed away after a long bout with cancer. I know she is finally pain-free and at peace, but it's still sad for those of us left behind, including all of the children in our congregation. The nice thing was that she passed away right before the church service, so we were able to be with our "church family" when we all got the news and were able to share in our sorrow together.

So it looks like this will be the second week in a row that I'll be attending a funeral for someone who was taken away too soon. So very sad! This week I will celebrate the life of my friend -- who touched so many lives with her warm smile & generous spirit -- by trying to do the same myself. I plan to reconnect with a few friends I haven't seen in a while, give support to someone who may need a helping hand or an encouraging word, and hug those closest to me for a few extra minutes each day. I'm going to savor the moments in my life, and be truly grateful for the people I've been blessed to know.

I wish you all a day of special moments & beautiful memories!

Hugs,
Kari

Chris I seriously gain 5 pounds eating chinese gotta love MSG not!
Kathy have fun chilling today
Michael have a fantastic day!

Well I am down and out with this cold seriously I feel sooooo bad I am actually thinking of going to the doctor. I pay 100% when I go to the doctor my insurance is more like disaster insurance (to give you an idea I paid $17,000 out of my pocket last year with my hysterectomy). So you know I feel BAD if I am willing to go to the doctor LOL!!

Thanks to everyone who prayed for my sister and her emergency surgery as she couldn't swallow. She is doing better now.

Hello everyone It sure is a beautiful weekend!! The girls had their soccer games and boy I'm so proud of Emma - she played goalie which she hadn't been interested in before. The other team was good and scored quite a few goals on her but I reminded her that she was learning something new and it will take practice. Alex played the entire game as defender and I'm proud she stuck it out the whole time without complaining. Especially since we only play 2 defenders in the back. Nathan is the assistant coach and focuses on the defense and goalie, so without him there Alex was stepping up and coordinating everything.

Then.......ahhhhhhh......my honey and I had our time together. It was nice a relaxing. We tried a new place to eat & I picked something new - WIN for me & bonus win - I don't know the nutrition info but it seemed like a much lighter meal. I took a total of 4 baths in the jacuzzi tub at the hotel We would have seen the sun rise this morning but I was too cold to go outside. So we snuggled

Then back to reality! We came back home and rushed around cleaning b/c someone was supposed to come see the house......turns out they never came - oh well my house is a bunch cleaner now & that much closer to where I need it to be for the open house this coming Sunday. While they were supposed to be looking at the house we went to the river for a picnic & Alex got in the water b/c she wanted to try out her homemade mermaid fin. Mom's know absolutly nothing lol. I told her a gazillion times the water was freezing. I don't think she'll be bugging me now to get back into the river until it's much much warmer!

It is beautiful and sunny here I'm soaking it in. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I will come back to do some shout-outs in a bit. AND take my photos tonight

I will attempt to take my pictures this week. I did not this weekend because I had to finish writing my one hour speech . What do you say when you are a keynote speaker? Anyway I did cook or prepped all my meals for the week. This way I do not have to worry about it this week and I know that I will have food that will keep me honest

I walked three miles this afternoon and I am going to go to bed early so I can get up early and jog before I go to work.

Good morning!

Thank you for your support during mmy very first 10 K race! It went well, and was really fun.. I've registered for another 10 Km race on July 8th.

Feeling a little tired today, might just take it as a day off, or I might do an UBWO.. Not decided yet. Either way, meal plan is 3 shakes and 2 clean meals..

Amy - Wow.. I can never speak for an hour!! How did the speech go?

Hello team,
Wow, are we ready for a super fantastic new week or not?

Yes, I realize the bumps and lumps of life has disappointed some of us.

Yes, I applaud the fact that some of us are experiencing the thrills of victory

and then there are those of us who are ingesting the bitter along with the sweet

the fact is ...... we survived last week and we are blessed with a new week that holds mysteries, and surprises. My hope is that we react to all situations in a manner that ignite our hope,
refuel our desires and kick our butts even closer to the goal.

May we all cling to the positive even if a negative cloud obstructs our view.

peace and hope to all
