Make sure you press evenly with the foot, like if you were actually pushing from the hip, with weight distributed evenly thru the foot. Some people tend to go up on their toes, or start pushing down w/ the toes, also, to avoid missing the groove try 2 min forward, 2min backward. Hope that helps!

Mine do and I have tried about 6 different ellipitcals, they all make my feet go numb after 10 to 15 min, I have stoped worked it out and continued but it still always happened. something is wrong the way you workout on it makes your blood flow different or something is just not right. I only use in now for little spirts. treadmill, then aerobics the ellipitcal the run, I don't stay on one for an entire workout anymore.

My feet go numb when I am out running - I am getting a new pair of shoes this week, the old ones - i took the insole out, and wriggled my toes, but it still happens. I wondered if it was because my feet get too hot so I am going to get some training socks from Nike also.
It is really annoying and sometimes painful towards the end of my run. |
