Jill, Thanks for your support I have already went to 3 different pain doctors and they all state the same thing. I went to 4 back specialists and there's no more that can be done. They all have said I need to find ways to deal with this chronic pain that I have. They mention therapy which I have been doing, also I see a counselor to help me cope with these issues I have dealing with chronic pain and a good pain mangement program which I am currently in. That's it. Yes I have seen the Dvd on BFL that's what keeps keeps me going.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support I really appreciate it.
God bless
Jerome

PS
I have been diagnosed with mild to severe arachnoiditis,
spondylolisthesis(L3,L3-L4) as well as Lumbar facet arthropathy you can look this up and see what they are. That's just the tip of the iceberg but just want to give ya a general idea.

Jerome - Have you tried some controlled form of Back Extension Exercises. It may be that if you work the Erector Spinae muscle it will try and align some of your lumbar spine. (After all that is the job of that muscle). Deadlift is another similar exercise but you must be carefull with it, go light and stop if anythhing doesnt feel right in that region. Another important thing is consistently stretching that part of the body. When you are doing the Back extension or Deadlift, go a full range of motion (as far as you can both ways) so that you are also stretching those muscles in the lubar area with each rep. Then also do stretches after each set. Just something for you to try. Lower back problems are a common problem and I have had some good results with some people if they stick at it. Advisable to do it with a trainer or somebody to help, and keep an eye on it.

Thanks Carlo I appreciate the valuable input. I can't do the Back Extensions and I have to be very careful on certain back exercises because I have 2 pedicle screws rods and plates as well as a cage inside my spine @ L4-L5 S1. I try to do some deadlifts but still have to be extremely careful. A little at a time. It does get frustrating for me I want so much to strengthen my lower back. I finally received my back brace from Rehab since I've lost weight the old one didn't fit anymore it was extremely huge on me now I may be ready to do a little more back exercises within reason of course. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again

Jerome

Here's an update I just found out a 1/2 hour ago.
Doctor's office just called they looked at my MRI and it turns out I barely have a fusion so now he will definitely not do the spinal stimulator because of instability he feels it would cause more damage he states I need to find another surgeon to see if I can get some type of spinal fusion done. The licks just keeps on coming! If I have surgery I will be out of commission for months......this really sucks! Please pray with me that they are wrong, I can't do another surgery I just can't................................

Jerome, I just caught a quick look at the notes and was wondering- do you swim at all? I thought my back was bad but you take the cake. Swimming is the only form of cardio that I can actually do all the time that will not put me in spasms. Anything else I can only tolerate for a while untill the problems start to creep in.
I have a great swim workout I came up with to use Bills cardio plan for. Let me know if you need the suggestions.
always, wendy

Hi Jerome,

After have been involved in two different accidents both of which injured my back, I know how bad that pain can be. I was lucky to have healed completely each time. I cannot even imagine going through that all the time. I will also pray for you.

Al

Jerome,
I have epilepsy, and overcoming this, and the obstacles that my strong medication presents for me, has been a tough part of my transformation journey. You CAN do this. Do all that you can, with all that you have, where you are right now...it's all anyone can ask.

All the Best, In Him-
Amy
