Lisa - We will be praying for Bobby that he would find his purpose in the Lord. I know this must be challenging for you to watch and I will be praying for strength for you too.

I love the Bible verse in Isaiah when I am feeling overwhelmed and weary it says in Isaiah 40: 29-31 "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Don't grow weary, the Lord is strong and mighty and He will sustain you and walk with you during this time with your son.

We are knowing for Bobby that he is filled with the strength to set his life on the right path and he is no longer taken by the pull of alcohol. He is a manifestaion of God's love and light. We know for Lisa and Bobby that they deserve a life of peace, joy and love. And so it is, Amen

Lisa - Having put my own parents through this recently, my heart goes out to you. My sobriety date is May 12, 2009. God willing and only through him, will I continue to live a sober life.

For you and your son....I will pray that Gods will be done. As we know, only He can heal. I pray for guidance and strength for both you and Bobby and that Bobby opens his heart and feels Gods love for him.

Will you keep us posted on how he's doing...AND how you're doing? I know this is terribly difficult for you but he has to do this on his own. But you don't...we're here for you.

You and your son will be in my prayers. I put my mother through much of what you're going through right now and I know that it was only her prayers and God's great mercy that brought me through. One of the verses that really helped me when I was struggling was Jeremiah 29:11 - For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord ... to give you a future with hope. I know God has wonderful plans for you and Bobby. Bobby is lucky to have such a caring mom.
