"Structure,clear-cut do's & don'ts and principles give you direction & peace of mind

I just love my Success Journal and the Lessons Bill put in there. I hope you all get from these what I do.

"Structure, clear-cut do's and don'ts, and principles give you direction and peace of mind."

When you consciously clarified your goals at the beginning of this Program, and you keep them in sight on a daily basis, you will notice that you continue to break free from clutter and confusion. And you'll develop more and more clarity as your energy remains focused on achieving yur objectives. Not only does this allow you to accomplish extraordinary results in terms of transforming your body, but it also gives you a mental boost. The structure, clear-cut do's and don'ts, and principles of the Body-for-Life Program give you direction and piece of mind. Today, notice that the structured exercise, nutrition and mindset tecniques you've been applying so far are helping you improve your physical condition and putting your mind at ease. Notice how your efforts are helping you see more clearly and that your energy is rising. Keep it up!
Bill Phillips-Lesson-for-Life-Success Journal Day 46

If you've been following this Transformation, you should be noticing huge changes in your way of thinking. Where there once may have been despair, you now have hope. Goals seem very achievable instead of just being a dream. Just by following the basic principles, you are making your life more structured, giving yourself energy & self confidence you didn't have before. Let's go all the way with this! Don't give up! Have Faith in Yourself! You can do it!

Have a great day!

I love this Carolynn--I do so much better with a "plan" that just "winging it"! I have not perfected this by any means, but I am getting better and better at being organized and planning. Such a simple thing that can give so much inner peace!!! Thank you!

Aimee, I have found that planning is the key to success. I am pretty sure it is Bill that wrote in his book, "Fail to Plan - Plan to Fail". That is sooo true. If I have a day where I want to get things done and go through the day trying to do them without a plan, I inevitably forget many of the things I need to get done.

I have started making to do lists. When I plan my workouts and menu's, I do my daily plan. It is written down and I even place them in order of my route. That way, when i jump in my truck I make a full circle instead of zig zagging everywhere and wasting time and gas. It is huge the amount of errands and things you can accomplish by doing that. You just go down the list until they are done.

My office at work is a train wreck. If I go to work and the crew knows I'm there, I get nothing done. Constant interruptions. So, lately, I go in a bit early before my clients arrive, sneak in my office door from the outside instead of going in through the salon and I get so much accomplished.

One other thing I have started doing, I don't allow myself to get on the computer to blog until I accomplish certain things. That is my reward for finishing my list. My life is starting to become a bit more "organized". I have huge amounts of work to do in this area. I let everything go for such a long time. I just didn't care anymore. In the last 7 weeks, my eyes are seeing much clearer. I am looking around and am horrified at what I allowed to happen. The messes, the piles, unfinished work and projects. If I look at it all, it is overwhelming. So I have a list going, but I am taking one project at a time to clear up and finish.

So if you don't "plan", start, you will be amazed!!
Best wishes!
Carolynn

CinAz - good for you on the progress you are making! I am working on this area as well. I have not been on here in a while, due to being on vacation and trying to catch up....I am working on achieving harmony. Procrastination is my lowest habit =) I am striving to be one of those people who get more done in a day than most people get done in a week. Thanks for the post!

Aimee, I hear you!! It is such a sense of accomplishment when you get through your list and stand back and look at your "environment".

Hi Melodi! Glad to see you. Welcome back! My environment shows procrastination all over the place. I am focusing on changing all that. It is amazing what just a few days of focus and determination can do.

Have a great evening!!
